often times we encounter people in our lives who don't stay with us in the long run but create more havoc than they are worth. we try to explain these phenomenon by citing cliche quotes like "who is meant to stay, will stay" (a version of Murphy's law :P ) " I don't lose, I learn or I win (very good practice kintu)", "i needed that bcs I required that hard jolt of reality check (May be! Dealing with jerks is a unique experience, u learn n grow!)", "if I knew she was like this i would never have made her my friend (Seriously! Don't think so)" etc etc.
Why do we ALWAYS think that it's about us?! May be it's not about me. May be it's all about her/him. May be its more like me going into her/his life than s/he coming into mine. May be she needed someone like me in her life more than anything. May be I was his anchor which brought him out of his depression/tough time whereas for me he/she was just meeting another person, making another friend, ordinary things. Your life is as important as the next person in this 7 billion ppl' s earth unless you are royalty or grade A celebrity (then even if you are an a**hole, your speeches will be quoted in random places). This universe is vast & you & your life as individual is very insignificant.
""Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others, past and present. And by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.""
Such accurate description.
P.s. this status incorporates but is not limited to romantic relationship only.
