Powerful or Powerless?

prologue

I walked down the hall, and I heard whispers around me. I wonder what they are thinking about.

"psst is that the new kid?"

"isn't that the grand-kid of that Wayland that was killed by Armenia?"

I ignored them and I walked quickly into my classroom. I found an empty seat in front of a girl that had dark brown hair with purple streaks in her hair.

I sat down, turned around, and said "Hi, my name is Kai Brooks, what is your name?"

She looked up and I saw that she had one green and one blue eye, and had a bewildered look on her face when she heard my voice.

"My name is Saline, and I am the granddaughter of Armenia."

wait a second, didn't I hear the name Armenia before?

I racked my brain and tried to remember who told me about her. I couldn't remember, so I just smiled at her and turned back around.

What I didn't remember was that she was the grandchild of the guardian that is trying to kill me
