Mystery Skulls: HELLBENT Vol. 1 [WIP]

Lewis, the anger surging within him, had stuck the cracked, blue heart onto his chest, the crack sealing and the blue turning into a bright orange. He fled off onto the main road, seeking the blood of Arthur.

Meanwhile, further up the road, a semi loaded with tons of diner goods roars across the mountains. The driver's hesitantly grabs his com and speaks into it with a sense of nervousness. "Breaker, 1-2, this is Rooster nearing the interstate. I need you to give me a clear of the traffic."
"None too much, you're pretty much clear to move along, over and out," the other trucker yelled into the communications. Rooster had been hauling a large load to the best and most renowned diner in Tempo: The Pepper Paradiso. He had overslept at the truck stop and was in the biggest hurry he had been in in years, so he, of course, was determined to get there in time for the deadline.

His trip would be cut short, as he spotted a glowing humanoid object in the road. "Get outta the god damn road!" Rooster screamed to Lewis as he honked the horn furiously. Lewis made a confused to surprised expression as the headlights filled his vision.

As the sound of screeching brakes roared throughout the sky, Lewis became nothing more than purple dust. Rooster was quickly overcame with sweat as he thought to himself, What in God's name have I done? I'm not just gonna get fired, I'm gonna get fried for this!

As Rooster laid his face into his lap, regretting what he did, an ambient glow appeared in the corner of his eye. It was a familiar purple, and as he gave a look of confusion, it quickly turned into flames and overtook the inside of the truck. "What in the hell!?" Rooster exclaimed as he jumped out of the truck. He coughed once he hit the ground and dust circled him. The truck became Lewis's property, as it turned into a black semi with a purple neon glow, Lewis appearing in the driver's seat. "MIND...IF I....BORROW THIS?" Lewis said as Rooster stared in shock.

Lewis slammed his foot onto the gas pedal and the truck spat out flames, driving into the night with a vengeance. "What the hell just happened?" Rooster said as he scratched his head.

It would be clear that Lewis put a death warrant onto Arthur's name, and he would be the one to claim it.
