The Late bus

The bell rang to start heading to the buses and cars and Amber Ross was one of the Jr's that could drive , but since her car broke down a few weeks ago she had to ride the bus. 

"Hey Amber you need a ride" Ryder shouted down the hall

"Um i'm okay i'm gonna take the bus" he winked and wondered off down the hall

Amber's Pov

The only thing i love more is riding the bus with all the annoying sophomores and some of the boy's and girls from the Jr highs down the street. I mean it's not so bad i get to listen to my music and look out the windows i guess. 

As she was walking to the bus she remembered that she left her biology home work in her locker on the other side of the school. She hurried and ran down the hall , when she turned the corner "Smack" she hit into something she thought it was a wall then she blacked out only for a few seconds. When she lifted her head she saw a blurry image "It was a guy" in a moment of embarrassment she tried to stand up and then "smack" she looked up and saw a boy holding onto her arm she said "Oh god i'm so sorry" he smiled and said

"Its okay i wasn't paying attention" as he laughed a little to make it less awkward 

I was so embarrassed and i blurted out

"Sorry , but i do really have to go i'm sorry i smacked into your head" He smiled and said

"Its really fine , it's nothing " as he wiped his lip

"Oh my god your bleeding , i'm really sorry" he laughed 

" It's fine it doesn't even hurt" he said laughing..

Then the two looked at each other and Amber made a gesture to him that she had to go then she walked away.

As she got to her locker she turned to the knob to put in her code she heard from the back the buses pull away.

"i guess i'm riding the late bus" she sighed and walked towards the back doors.

It was a few minutes later and it was about time for the late bus to show up so she walked outside and waited on the side walk. Very few kids ride the late bus most of them are Jocks after practice or something like that.  She put her ear buds in and slid her finger across her phone screen and turned on "Sugar" by Maroon 5. She sat there for a few minutes and then the bus was pulling into the parking lot. 

As the bus pulled up she waited for the doors to open and she stepped in walking up the stairs she sat in the middle of the bus waiting for the bus to pull away. The bus had to wait for at least five minutes so that all the kids had a chance to get there in time. After a few minutes most of the kids got on and the bus started to pull away. Then it jerked to a quick stop a boy came up the stairs.

"Hey i know you" he said sitting right next to me

"Hey what you doing on the late bus" 

"Um i can't drive my car yet" he said with a sigh

"Oh mine broke a few weeks ago" He laughed

Ambers Pov

When the bus jerked forward i expected a jock to get on the bus , but no it was him the on i accidentaly smacked into. Then after an embarrassing look i gave him he sat right next to me.

"So i never did get your name" 

"Oh mine's Amber" 

"Amber that's beautiful" he said with a smile 

" Haha thanks" i said to make it less awkward 

They both sat there talking back and forth like an new teen couple on there first date. After the bus dropped of he last few kids it was Amber and him on the bus.

"So what's your name" 

"You will just have to wait and see" he said giving me a fake wink and smile then stood up and walked down the isle and got off the bus.

Ambers Pov

The fact that he sat right next to me and said my name is beautiful is just wired not very many boys like girls like me. I haven't seen him ever in school and i wish i knew why he wouldn't tell me what his name is. I just know that he was super nice , and funny and he some how had an interest in me and i was gonna have to find a way to see him or ride the Late Bus a lot more.
