Jack was nervous.
When Jack's aeroplane landed, the first thing he did was take out his phone to text Mark.
Jack: Mark, where are ya? I arivsdg
ding
Mark: What was that? Lol coming to pick u up
Little did Jack know, Mark was already there and standing behind him. Jack turned around to see Mark holding his luggage and right in front of his face. A little too close. Jack jumped back and let out a short yelp of surprise.
"MArK don't do that! Ya know I scare easy!" he reminded, giving Mark a playful punch to his arm. Mark feigned pain mimicking a crappy video game death (i.e. a random pose that barely resembles death)
"Aw, Jack, don't whine, people are staring," he wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
On instinct, Jack looked around self-consciously. People in LA have seen weirder shit in their lives than two men being stupid with each other. Plus, most were already preoccupied with their phone.
"I was kidding, silly. Let's go back to my humble abode before we get recognised or something," he grabbed the handle of one of Jack's suitcases.
"I can carry me own luggage..." he mumbled.
*woooooh they're at Mark's house*
"And then she said, 'NASA PEEEPOoO'" Mark was saying as they walked through the door, bursting out laughing. Jack loved Mark's laugh which happened to be joined by his own due to the joke.

The sound of the frantic running of a dog got louder until Jack was ambushed by a certain golden retriever. ((if you have a dog, this is SOOOOO relatable))
"ChiCA! Get off Jack, come to meeeeeeeeeee!!!!" Mark whined as a joke, pretending to be jealous of Jack's attention.
"GaAHAHHHHHHH!!!! Halp MEEeeE MArK!!!" Jack was unable to get up.
"sigh," Jack thought. "This was going to be an eventful month."
