I sigh with a big stupid looking grin on my face as I read this, reaching over the side of my bed to pick up a blue, chevron throw pillow. He knows just how to swoon me, I think to myself. We've been dating for 8 months and by the looks of things it won't be ending anytime soon.

Every couple has there own unique thing that separates them from all the others. For some it might be a scrapbook of their time together, others might be doing big bold things for their anniversaries. For us, we like to send cheesy pickup lines. I know sounds stupid but every girl feels all giddy inside when a smoking hot guy says something like "does your left eye hurt, because you've been looking right all day."

I like the shirt you were wearing, it looked like it was made out of boyfriend material. I had a good day but it was better when I saw you. C U soon.

He texts back almost immediately.

Can I call or are u busy?

That's weird, he usually just calls without asking. A combination of concern and fear is beginning to bubble up in my stomach. Did I do something or is it him or?...

My thoughts are interrupted by a bright flash on the screen.

Don't worry it's nothing bad. I just want to talk to you.

Wow it's like he can read my mind, maybe that's why I fell in love with him.

Since it's no big deal I guess I can talk.

I pull out my phone and dial his number.

Ring ring ri-

"Hello?" I hear his rough sweet voice on the other end.

"Hey, Its me." I say with a major voice crack. He chuckles and I hear his deep voice rumble from his strong chest.

"Hey Jorden, what's up?" He asks clearly trying to test my patience.

"What do you need to tell me?" I ask in a concerned tone.

"Okay okay, well... I was wondering if you wanted to go out to dinner with me Saturday night?" He asks with nervous sounding vocals.

"Wait, Noah are you asking me out on a date?!" I ask trying to contain my excitement.

"Maybe I am, and if I was would you say yes?" He says in a cute tone that makes me want to jump with joy.

"Noah, I would love to go on a date with you." I exclaim excitedly.

"Perfect! I was thinking we would do a walk in the park than move to a picnic under the stars." He says romantically as if he's imagining it as we speak. "Unless you hate the idea, where in that case, I do to and you can come up with it and whatever it is I'm sure I'll-"

" I love it Noah!" I say cutting him off. "I can't wait!"

"Perfect." He says.

"I'll wear something beautiful and make myself look pretty." I state.

"You always do." He says making my heart flutter like I let a million butterfly's escape.

We sit in silence for a minute or so before I here Noah clearing his throat on the other end.

"Well," he says braking the silence. "I have to go babe. Talk to you tomorrow."

"Okay." I respond.

"I love you." he says.

I don't know why I don't, but I can't say it back. Maybe it's because it seems like something bad will happen or maybe it's because I don't feel the same way.

"Goodbye."
