Dusk-Dawn

I want your presence to greet my eyes as I wake up in the middle of the night, when everything is dead except the beating of our hearts, the sound of your sighs and our youth.

I want to melt on your cold lips as you consume a pint of your favorite strawberry sherbet that match the color of your lips while we watch your favorite movie in the dark.

I want to photograph you while fallen leaves crunch beneath our feet while walking around the neighborhood wearing dirty shoes while the sun sets, casting a beautiful hue of gold on your glory. I bet you'd look perfect.

I have never been the one who rises early to watch the sun rise but I am hoping that someday I would see the love of my life, holding a cup of tea and watching it with me.
