... Ahhh that awkward age when everyone isn't old enough for relationships yet all the cool people want one to make them seem older. Anyone you date in this age range will NOT be the person you marry.
I hated this, I mean yeah I had a crush, but I didn't want a relationship until high school because let's face it, high school boys are really cute and middle school is still pretty young for a meaningful relationship.
I think middld school is where we start to notice that there are differences between guys and girls. Our maturity levels start to gap between genders and our hobbies tend to differ a lot. But that doesn't mean we're ready for relationships and relationships that start in this age group have a 99.9 repeating chance of NOT working out from what I've seen.
