ㅤAlec has never liked celebrating any holidays and especially Christmas as it was "too much head ache" for him. All this fluffy decorations, cute presents, sweet words and lots of hugs were always getting on his nerves. Alec is not a 'warm and fuzzy' kind of guy.

On every Christmas Alec loved sitting in the corner all alone with a book in his hands and reading. He always loved reading, especially he liked sitting in a library far away from the crowd. He was trying to escape and close himself from everyone. He had never known his feelings and didn't want other people to know them.

It was a Christmas Eve. Alec didn't get used to celebrate it, so he could say it was the first Christmas in his life. Sometimes he liked to think how the perfect Christmas should be celebrated. Does it include sitting in front of a round table wearing a gorgeous costume and sharing smiles with the family? Or is it supposed to be a cozy night near the fire with the ones he loved?

This Christmas Eve was very special for him as he finally decided to celebrate it. And not just celebrate, he decided to share this special day with Magnus Bane, the man who turned Alec's life upside down.

After their reunion they have got much closer. Every night spent together, every cozy evening on a huge sofa with each other by their side, all of them felt like last. After their break-up Alec realized that all he really wanted and needed was to hug his ex-boyfriend and kiss him so gentle and hot at the same time. All he wanted was Magnus Bane. Since this time Alec couldn't get enough of all of that. Although a lot of time have passed, Alec was still afraid of losing this wonderful warlock.

This morning Alec woke up feeling someone was watching him. "Are you watching me sleeping? That's creepy," Alec quipped.

ㅤ"It's Christmas," Magnus strode towards the bed. "Can you please don't be rude at least today, Alexander?" He layed near Alec, so they could feel each others hips touching, and kissed him on the nose. Alec smiled and kissed Magnus back, but on the lips, as gentle as he never did before.

ㅤAfter an hour of cuddling Magnus suggested to go and get some Christmas presents for each other and Alec's family. Even though Alec didn't like the idea, he didn't have a choice, unless he wanted to spend the whole afternoon at home watching movies and waiting for Magnus to come back.

"Here's your coffee, wake up or everything will be sold out," said Magnus. "We need to hurry!"

ㅤAfter a gorgeous cup of vanilla latte, which Magnus probably stole with his magic from the expensive coffee shop nearby, Alec came to the living room and froze with his mouth open. There was a huge dark-green tree in the middle of the room with all the ornaments on it. The entire apartment with its giant windows and big amount of Christmas lights was a big splash of gold, green and red. It smelled like a mix of gingerbread and sandal wood and felt like he was in a fairy tail.

As Alec came to the kitchen the smell of bakery and hot chocolate hit him. Alec saw Magnus with a Santa hat on taking chocolate chip cookies out of oven and putting them on a plate which was standing near two cups filled with aromatic Christmas drinks.

Alec would never understand all the decorations on people's houses and mundanes being so excited and so happy about some dumb little holiday, but now he felt exactly the same. He was truly happy with  searching for Christmas presents with his boyfriend.

"Mundanes... Look at them, running around like ants," he said trying to show that he was annoyed by everything what was happening at the moment.

"Don't be so discourteous. Oh, look, there's a cosmetics store... Let's meet here in an hour," Magnus blinked and disappeared.
