I left the In Home Care facility, putting my earbuds in as I walked. I loved my job, but today had just been a horrible day. I just wanted to go home, collapse onto my bed, and listen to I Prevail until my ears bled. All I could think of was how horrid I was just treated by my boss for something that wasn't even my fault. I watched my black converse slap the pavement as I trudged my way back to my house. I ran my hand through my waist length red hair, making it fall in my face in a cascade of crimson waves.
I was just watching my black skinny jean clad legs propel me forward when I collided with a solid body, my books crashing to the concrete with a thud. I turned my crystal blue eyes up to a black haired boy, stammering out an apology.
"I-I am so sorry." He stuttered, his piercing green eyes flooded with concern.
I shook my head and tore my eyes away from his perfectly soft lips and chiseled jaw line, stopping to collect my things "I wasn't paying attention. It's my fault entirely." I replied, beginning to gather the fallen objects. He knelt down, collecting my things for me, our fingers brushing momentarily as we reached for the same book, making goosebumps rise on my arms, hidden carefully by my black leather jacket. I retracted my hand and we both stood, him holding out the remainder of my belongings.
"My name is Elias." He said quietly. I took my things from him with a small smile, my wine colored lips turning upwards slightly. "Chaos." I said with a shrug. "Thank you." He just nodded and side stepped out of my way. "Well I'll see you around, Chaos." He said before turning, pushing his fringe out of his eyes with one hand and shoving the other into the pocket of his blue jeans before walking off.
I turned towards my own destination and walked the rest of the way home, unable to get my thoughts away from the green eyes that bore into mine or the way his navy blue V-neck t-shirt showed his collar bone.

I threw my bag and my three new books onto my black duvet and followed suit, pulling out my phone.

Like I have a choice lol
I pushed myself off my bed and started packing my bag. I checked my phone reading 9:45 pm as I closed the zipper.
I ran a brush through my hair and adjusted my dark red tank top under my jacket. I sat at my desk and grabbed the book I was reading. Before long, a knock came at my door and I rose, unaware of the time.
I opened the door in time to see Maddie, her shoulder length black hair framing her hazel eyes. She put her hand in the pocket of her black skinny jeans after pulling on her hoodie. Ready? She asked. "Always." I said, grabbing my book and bags before locking the house behind me.
When we arrived at Maddie's house, she immediately drug me inside. "I saw you talking to a gorgeous piece of man earlier. Spill." She demanded.
I laughed and ran her through my encounter with Elias, her eyes sparkling with each detail. We sat and spoke like that before she got up and grabbed her bag, handing me a long black cloak as she grabbed one for herself. "Time to go." She said. I nodded and followed her to her car.
