Complicated Love - Joshaya

Upstate

I am going to go to upstate NY with Shawn, Cory, Topanga, Auggie, Riley, and Maya tomorrow. I stayed at Cory's house last night so we could wake up early so we could leave at 8 in the morning. I still have to hide my feelings for Maya.

So we are about ready to leave so we decide who we sit by.

(J- Josh, R- Riley, C- Cory, T- Topanga, S- Shawn, A- Auggie, M- Maya)

T- Shawn is driving

C- I call shotgun!

J/R/A/S/M/T- of course

T- Auggie I want you to sit by me ok

A- ok

R- you and me (looking at Maya)

M- you too (pointing to me)

J- cool

On the way there Maya ends up falling asleep on my shoulder. I can't help but smile at her gorgeous face while she is peacefully sleeping.

Where we are staying in this gigantic log cabin. (pictures will be next chapter) I wake Maya up.

J- Maya wake up

M- But I am tired

J- well we are here

M- fine ok

Every room in the house is amazing.

Every one goes to their room and unpacks. When I am done I go out to the living room and I happened to see Maya.

J- hey Maya you done

M- yeah you

J- yep

M- Josh

J- yeah

M- why did you call me gorgeous so many times on Instagram but when you got Matthews you totally ignored me and hung out with Auggie?

J- well I did not completely ignore you at Christmas

M- yeah you had a tiny conversation with me and then said cool when I told you were coming to upstate NY with me

J- oh well I have had a lot of things on my mind recently and Auggie usually help my head clear out

M- thanks for the explanation

Riley walks in.

M- hey riles

J- hey

R- hi what are you guys up to

M- just talking

R- ok

All three of us talked for the rest of the night. Riley ended up falling asleep at 8:30 so it was just Maya and I talking for the rest of the night. Maya looked at the clock it was 9:59 at night.

M- hey Josh I think I'm going to go to bed

J- ok let me walk you to your room

M- you don't need to do that

J- no it will be fine

M- ok

I walk with Maya to her room.

M- it was nice talking to you tonight

J- yeah it was we should do it again

M- Josh

J- yes Maya

M- I like you

J- you know I am three years older than you right

M- yeah but I am in it for the long game

J- ok night

M- night Josh

I head back to my room. Once I got there and laid down in my bed I started to think about what Maya said to me.

I really wanted to tell her that I liked her but my head took over.

I kept thinking about Maya until I fell asleep.
