I'll see you around Becca, I will see you around.

That was the last thing he had said before leaving the kitchen. I went to the dance floor again to find Claire dancing with a couple of cute guys.

"Hey Claire, I think I want to go home."

"Becca? Already? Why don't you stay a little longer?" She yelled over the music. They were blaring a song so loud I wasn't even sure what song it was.

"Because I don't want to be here anymore and I'm tired I can go by myself if you want," I reply. I didn't want to abandon her but after what just happened in the kitchen I definitely wanted to go home.

"I can't leave my best friend hold on let me get my things, I'll be right out."

I walked towards the door and see Joey having a make out session with this blond chick he probably just met. He's disgusting I thought and walked out the door.  Claire came and opened the car door.

"Hey, why did you want to leave so soon?" she asked.

"Because Claire I just wanted to and..."

"And what?"

"I was just getting uncomfortable. And in the kitchen something happened."

"Something as in... Oh god did you have sex?" she asked in a serious tone.

"NO Claire you know me too well to know I'd never."

"Well it's a party who knows what would happen, ya know?"

"Well I do know that Joey, he was up on me in the kitchen." I finally blurted out.

"Joey Wrong? But hey he's the cutest guy in school, why would you get uncomfortable over that?" she said as she smiled.

"Uno because he's disgusting and I don't understand why other girls are all over him, hes not that great to be honest. Dos he is annoying. Tres y finalmente he'd hit on any moving thing as long as it was female."

She arrived at my place and stops the car.

"AHAHA, as true as all that is Bec he probably just did that for fun to tease you. Hey who knows maybe he really likes you." she suggested.

"HA really likes me that's funny. Thanks Claire. I'll see you later, thanks for dropping me off."

I walked inside the house and make my way to my room. I lay on my bed and go on my phone. *3 missed calls from Jessica* I called her back and she seemed like she was still at the party.

"Becca heyyyy you know Joey righttt?"

"Um, I guess why?"

"Ohh he just wanted your number so I gave it to him just wanted to tell you."

Shocked and enraged, I hung up right away. No that jerk cannot have my number. Well all I have to do is not pick up right? Yeah just calm down Becca. I sit back down onto my bed and the words I'll see you around Becca, I will see you around, is ringing in my head.

I tried to sleep when the phone rang, *Unknown number*. I don't pick up then it rang again. I put it on silent then went to sleep.

"5 missed calls and a new message huh." I said as I got up and checked my phone. It was from the same unknown number so I checked the text message.

"Why weren't you picking up the phone? It's me Claire I had to borrow my aunts phone to talk to you bc mine died."

I called that number again and checked if it was true, and it was. I texted Claire and said, "I'm so sorry, I thought you were Joey and I didn't want to pick up."

*New message*

"Why would you think that? And how would Joey have your number anyways?"

"Jessica..."

"Are you kidding me. Is she really that stupid enough to give that player your number. "

"It's not her fault I guess I don't know but I'm sure he's not gonna call, anyways what did you need to talk to me about?"

"Oh my family's having a Christmas party and wanted to know if you'd like to join?"

"I'll let you know but im gonna go get ready to go to the mall I'll talk to you later."

"Bye Bec!"

I got ready to go to the mall and I got into the car to drive, but as I got in I received an unknown call. Maybe its Claire I thought and picked up.

"Hey Claire did your phone die again?" I asked.

"Babe you've got the wrong person. Its me," I heard a very familar voice say. Shit I am stupid.
