Ughhhh it's the first day of school, and I have to dress cute today, first impressions are everything. Plus Caroline will get mad if she gets all cute and I don't... you see, we made these plans a while ago... and she told me if I backed out she was probably gonna stab me in the eye. With a fork. Sounds painful sooooo I'm gonna get dressed up... I let my hair stay in its natural curly state because it actually looked pretty cute today, I put on eyeliner and mascara, then found the cutest outfit I own. A light pink strapless summer dress that ended right above my knees, with a light grey cardigan, bracelets Caroline had given me a while ago but I'd never really worn, and my combat boots which were black on the outside, with a light pink floral pattern on the inside. For the final touch I put in my pearl earrings. Purrrrrfect. Haha I'm punny.... man im lame.
"OLIVIA. IT'S TIME TO GOOOOO!" Caroline's sister had driven her to my house, she was gonna be driving us to school everyday since she went to Ringold. I grabbed my purse and a granola bar, then ran outside and got in the car with them. "Olivia you look so cute!! I didn't think you were actually gonna dress up!!" Caroline looked really surprised, i laughed, thanked her, and complimented her outfit also. We took out our class schedules and compared them. We had lunch, Honors English, and World History together. Not too shabby if I say so myself.

Biology- room 230 north building

Ok, this looks like the right classroom... As I walked in the teacher said "Oh... Yay... Another student showed up," well thanks I know I'm welcome here... "Are you a freshman or sophomore?" She asked with the most bland, monotone voice ever. "Um, my name is Olivia Greene, I'm a freshman." The teacher looked sooo super exited to have me in her class... NOT. This was going to be a long year. "Sit at any table that isn't full." I took a look around the room, each table had two chairs, most of which were full of sophomores... Oooh but wait! There's one with nobody in it! Lucky me!
I sat at the table with no one at it. Maybe I should've sat with somebody, everybody else was talking to somebody and I'm sitting here like a bump on a log...
A tall boy with tanned skin, dark brown hair, and Hollister clothes on walked in. "ZACHHHH!!!!" Some girl in the back of the room yelled. Wait, what did she just say?!?!? ZACH?!? Oh my god. No no no no NO. Okay Olivia that's probably his girlfriend and he probably doesn't even remember you right? I mean the whole beach thing was two weeks ago, there's no way he- "Hey! Olivia!" Crap. I looked up at him and gave him a little smile, "Hey.." He walked over and sat by me. The girl in the back looked pissed off. "Don't worry about her, little miss popular thinks she gets whoever she wants whenever she wants," Zach whispered, "So what's up?" "Haha, nothing much, I just feel like I don't belong here..." "Why not? Wait.. You're one of those really smart freshman aren't you?" "I'm not smart, my mom put me in honors classes because she's a control freak and if things don't go her way she gets all pissy." I said. He looked at me for a second, let out a very small laugh, then asked "you ever skipped class Ollie?" "Nope. Haven't had a reason to." I replied. Wrong answer. The smirk on his face told me he was about to give me a reason to be skipping. "Ohh okay, you can act tough at the beach but not at school huh?" I didn't know what to say, "I don't know what you're talking about." "You look really nice today" Zach complimented. "Thanks, you too, but for the record, you look better without a shirt on."
Did you seriously just say that?!?!
"Well for the record, you look better with a bikini on." We both laughed for a second, and I looked at his eyes by total accident. It's hard to explain just how gorgeous his eyes were. Dark blue, with touches of light green... They look brown from a distance, but so mesmerizing up close. I turned away before I looked like I had a crush on him or something. "Aww come on Oll-" did I just suddenly go deaf or did he stop talking?!? I turned my head back around to look at him. Zach was looking out the window, with his mouth wide open. After a few seconds he just got up and left. "Have a great day!!!!" What is wrong with that teacher?!?!? I scooted closer to the window and scanned the scene, what did Zach see?!? There was a bald man in a nice suit standing next to a bush. There were also some trees, grass and flowers, but that's about it. Nothing suspicious...
DING DING DING DING
The bell rang. Time to go to my next class.

It was finally lunch!!! I was like starving in class, I should probably wake up earlier so I would have time for breakfast... Nah. After getting my lunch, I looked around the cafeteria. Where are you Caroline?!?!? Ugh. She saw me and waved, when I saw her I went over and sat down across from her. "So how's high school been so far?" She asked. After I ate the entire fruit cup and half of my chicken nuggets, I replied "Ehh it's pretty good. You?" "It's so much fun!! Have you met any cute guys yet???" "Loads." She giggled "No seriously have you? I could totally hook you up with this one guy in my art class.." "Um thanks but no thanks, there's a guy in my biology class." She gave me the "OMG GO ON" look, I decided to skip the part about the beach, "He's got dark brown hair that flips ever so perfectly, he's tan, and he's kind of strange and mysterious... I don't know.." I saw her eyes flick up and get wide when I said "strange and mysterious"... what was she looking at?!? I turned around. Zach had been walking by, he heard what I said about him, and was now standing behind me. Greattt. "Olivia you can't talk about him like that, he's the schools bad boy, HE WILL BEAT YOU TO A PULP." Caroline said very quietly through gritted teeth. "Lets go Olivia." Zach said as he grabbed my arm. His grip is so tight, this isn't like when we were at the beach... Caroline's eyes were wide with shock and she looked scared. Zach tugged on my arm, I looked at his eyes again, and right now they looked like they were coal that was fueling a fire, he looked mad. His grip got tighter... it hurt.. "I said let's go." Zach repeated. Now I was as panicked as Caroline. I don't know what I'm supposed to do here, do I get up and go, or do I tell him no?!? Okay maybe I don't do anything.. Zach picked me up and walked out of the double doors leading outside. He threw me over his shoulder, like a sack of potatoes, and held onto my legs so I couldn't fall off, or get away. "Where are we-" "Shut up Olivia." I shut up. I also realized that everyone from the cafeteria had come outside and they were waiting to see me get slammed into a tree or something. Zach turned and went toward East building. He opened the door labeled "stairs" and kept walking. As he got to the last step he said "You don't mind skipping a few classes to talk to me do you?" Without giving me time to answer he said "Good." I have no idea where I am. I'm guessing somewhere in East building, but that doesn't help me any since I know absolutely nothing about this school. "Zach?" He flipped a switch, obviously the lights since they came on, then set me down. "What?" "What all did you hear me say..?" "Nothing." "I hadn't finished my sentence when you showed up... The rest of it was about how I like figuring guys out, and that so far you seem really nice. But you're apparently Ringold's "bad boy"?" He sat down on the couch I hadn't seen until just now, and pulled out a cigarette. "Yeah that's my reputation, don't go and blow it. Okay?" Hit lit the cigarette, "Yeah I smoke, and no I don't have any tattoos. Not yet, I haven't found any reason to get one so I haven't." "Makes sense to me" I replied as I watched him fill his lungs with STRAIGHT UP CANCER. Okay Olivia calm yourself down. Keep your cool. "Miss goody goody doesn't smoke does she?" He said with a smirk. "No, I don't want cancer, and don't call me that." "There's the feisty Ollie I met at the beach!" He let out a laugh then continued, "you really don't remember, or are you just stubborn?" As I gave him a death glare (not as good as my mom's yet but it was getting there), he said "Looks like I have more to figure out about you than you do about me, haha. Instead of giving me the evil eye, you should come sit down, or is the second hand smoke too bad for the goody goody?" I really want to punch him in the face right now. Zach smashed what was remaining of the cigarette into the small side table next to him.
Great it's going to catch fire and I'm going to die up here and nobody's going to find me because I'll just be ashes. Wait, the cigarette didn't catch the table on fire, it was put out. Haha. Just kidding. "Um Zach, when you were carrying me my dress was still over my butt right?" He looked at me and I can't tell but it looks like he's... blushing?!? "I don't know Ollie, maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. All I know is that those hello kitty underwear are out of style." But, I don't own hello kitty underwear... OHH HE'S JOKING HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA. Blonde moment. "Oh? Then what do you think is in style Zach?" He paused as if he was thinking about it, then got a light bulb. "Thongs from Victoria's Secret! I think we should go get you in style!" While laughing I said "But you're a sophomore, you don't have a license." "License, huh? Who said I don't have one?" "A real one." As I was walking over to sit by him on the small couch, Zach grabbed his wallet off of the side table. He pulled out a card. "What's this then? Huh? I think I win Ollie!" He shoved the card and his keys in my face. He had a hardship license, you can get one when you're 15 if your parents aren't able to get you places, you're only supposed to be able to drive to school and back home with it, but the police are pretty relaxed. If you don't have drugs/alcohol in the car, you're buckled up and have proof that you haven't stolen the car, they don't care. "Hmm. Okay I could use a trip to the mall, I just need a few things first." "Oh lord... what does the princess need now?" He smiled. "Haha, well the first thing is, I need to let my friend know I don't need a ride home, but I can't tell her I'm skipping because she'd flip. The second thing I need is a promise." "For the first thing, I've got you covered. The ladies in the office love me, I can get them to tell her you had a doctors' appointment and just forgot to tell her. I'm not the best with promises, but I can try. What do I have to promise?" "That you won't drive too recklessly, you will keep me safe, and you won't get me into trouble or let my parents find out about this." "Oh, I don't drive badly or else I'll get my license taken so don't worry about that, and if I snitched on you for skipping I would also get caught so why would I do that? I wouldn't, and the whole keeping you safe thing, I would do that any time, not just while we're skipping. I promise. Cross my heart and hope to die."
OMG HOW CUTE?!?!? But don't forget that you barely know him Olivia. Just be careful okay?
Shut up conscience. Don't you dare ruin this for me!!
"Okay! Sounds good to me! But, um, when we go back downstairs you don't have to carry me do you?" I really do think my butt was hanging out, and I'm seriously not trying to advertise it. "Haha no, and sorry about your arm, I didn't mean to grab you so tightly..." Geez I still have a mark on my arm from his hand.. Doesn't hurt anymore but it's still red. We both stood up at the same time and laughed. "Zach!" "What?!?!?" He looked panicked. I was panicked. "When you took me at lunch, you didn't give me time to get my purse! My phone, makeup, and money was in there!" "I'm so sorry I'm such a retard! Follow me!" He flipped the lights back off and we took off running down the stairs and toward the office building. We quit running when we got near the door to catch a breath and fix each others hair. "Okay, we just have to go in the office and ask Janice, the really fat lady at the front desk to call for your friend. You can tell her you're leaving and get your purse." "Okay but you have to hide when she comes or she'll know something's up." She probably would know something was up anyways but, hey, it was worth a shot. Zach nodded and opened the door for me. The lady he told me about, Janice, looked up when she heard us walk in. "Hey Zachary!" She said with a big smile, "what can I do for ya?" She had a thick Irish accent and a beautiful smile. "Hello Janice," Zach said with a smile, "I need you to help out my friend Olivia, she lost her purse and thinks her friend she was sitting with at lunch might have gotten it for her, I also need two excuse notes for class" "Zach are you already skipping? It's the first day of school!" The lady whispered, Zach nodded "it's for a good cause." She laughed "Well okay, only for a good cause. I take it you need one for you and the other for her?" She asked while writing his name on one of the notes and stamped her signature at the bottom. "Yes." He said. "Okay, and what's your name?" She asked me. I told her what it was "Olivia Greene..? What a beautiful name for such a beautiful girl!" She winked at Zach, then continued writing my note and talking to me, "and Zach said you needed to have me call a friend down here? What's her name?" I really like this lady, she's so nice. "Thank you so much, her name's Caroline Jackson." Mrs. Janice looked Caroline's name up to see what class she was in, and called that room on the intercom. Zach "needed to use the restroom", and left just a few moments before Caroline came in with my purse. My beautiful purse! I never thought I would see you again!!!! Okay, back to reality. "Hey Caro, thanks for getting my purse for me at lunch!" I had my cardigan covering up my arm so she wouldn't see it was still marked. She smiled, "glad you're still alive!" I giggled and hugged her, "my mom's about to come pick me up for a doctors appointment, I forgot all about it this morning and forgot to tell you and Maggie. I was too caught up in how excited I was for school I guess! Haha." She laughed and said "okidoki! I'll let her know!" Then handed me my purse, and went back to class. That was wayyyy too easy. The door slammed shut, Zach heard it and came back out of the bathroom. "Got everything?" He asked, I nodded, smiled, then thanked Janice one more time, and we walked straight on out of the office to the student parking lot. Zach walked to the passengers side of, what I'm guessing was his white truck, and opened the door for me, then went to his side and jumped right in and started the truck.

Mall, here we come.
