Sooooo I'm participating in NaNoWriMo this year and I spent the whole of last week planning my story, The Gaea Emblem, and this year I intend on finishing 50k in a month! Last year I wrote 40k and my laptop crashed so I lost all my work but it was a different story and I didn't like it so much.
ALSO I wrote it on a whim, I never planned it out, just sat in front of the computer and typed away. This is the first book of a series I have more or less planned out almost completely and I'm really excited cause I've never planned and written a story before. I think I can finish this time *fingers crossed*. To celebrate the start of the month [and my birthday next week *WOO*] I made a new cover for the first in the series and I'm using it as motivation to continue writing so I won't make the next covers in the series UNTIL I finish this book.
