My black mascara tears fall down my cheek and stain my brand new mattress. Every breath is shaky and stuttered. Every single day part of me seems to die. I feel like I'm slowly getting ripped a part. My face starts to sting as the mascara sinks into my skin. I stand up, and look at my face. Black smudges everywhere. My face was pink and in pain. I have to look away, because seeing myself makes me cry harder. My little sister walks in and looks at me in the corner. She looks in shock at me. "Go away" I whisper in a shaky voice. She stood in the doorway for a second before turning around.

It was the hardest decision I ever made.

I ran fast not looking back carrying a small bag and headed toward Blackbear Forest. I ran for what seemed like about 20 minutes. I sat down on a rock, sharp enough to make my tailbone ache. I knew I could never go back. This was it. My new life. Another chance. I hope I don't mess this one up. I opened my bag and pulled out my phone. It rang loudly. It was from my dad. I didn't pick up, because that was my old life. This was completely new, a fresh start.

I thought I would be ok by now, but I'm still emotionally unstable. One moment I'll be smiling, the next my heart will beat fast and tears will be shed. It took me about one week to realize that I wouldn't survive out here for much longer. I was really sad, but I didn't want to die.

I heard a leaf being crunched behind me. I begin to turn around. But it wasn't much longer until I was completely face flat on the floor with someone or something on top of me. I didn't dare move, just incase. "COME IN PEACE" The thing yelled. So it must be a person. I nodded my head, still on the floor. It happened to be a boy. He helped me up, and I realized how tall he was. Maybe on the verge of 6'3? Blonde hair, and shiny blue eyes. He stared me in the eyes sharply. "I'm Zane. I'm from the beasts." He smiled gently. "The beasts?" I asked. " Oh right! So the beasts are a group of people, and we live here in the wild!" He gestured his hand to follow him. He led me to a place about five minutes away from where I was. Tons of buildings surrounded me. They were made of wood that you could tell was made plank by plank. The scenery was so beautiful it was like heaven on earth. My eyes opened wider and wider as I saw how far the buildings went down. "How has no one found you here?" I was so shocked because this place is huge. "It's the modern days, nobody goes outside anymore." Zane made a slight frown. "That's why we live out here so we can appreciate the nature." His frown formed a smile again. He introduced me to all of the people living in the little village.

I realized that this whole new life thing was begin to come together. It's not so bad, is it?
