(Following Mondo)
White, endless, and irritating. We're the words Mondo would have used to describe the area he was currently In. He'd been in there for who knows how long. He broke into a run once more as he ran to find somewhere, anywhere, rather than the door he'd been constantly seeing for the past while. Though of course, his bad luck struck again. He hadn't been focusing, and ran face forward into that stupid door once again.
Mondo took a deep breathes, as he looked up at the tall wooden door in the middle of a white endless room. He'd ran and ran, but the only thing he ever found was this door. The last thing he remembered was that cursed execution. All he could think about, was the constant spinning. Around and around and around. He gagged at the thought. With a huff he contemplated entering the area beyond the door. He shook his head in refusal, turning away. Though every time he turned back, and got closer and closer to the door.
He soon found himself with his hand on the doorknob, eyeing it curiously. Before he knew it, he opened the door. It creaked open slowly, and he was immediately blinded by a shining light. He brought his arm over his eyes to shield his vision. Once he cautiously let his arm down he blinked, the area around him completely changed. The whole feeling was warm and fuzzy, it made the biker shudder. Though the sun was warm felt a guilt inside, brought out even further by how nice this place was.
He sighed and started forward, looking around. The whole path he trod on was lined with cherry blossom trees, and the path was made from golden colored bricks. The grass underneath the trees was lush and green, covered in cherry blossom petals like freshly fallen snow. This almost made him want to smile, though he didn't. The guilt in the pit of his gut stopped him. Fujisaki's face crossed his mind, and a wave of regret crashed down on him. Why did he have to get jealous, it wasn't Chihiro's fault that he was so strong.
Pushing the thought, and his guilt away temporarily. He looked straight forward and squinted, seeing some kind of building in the distance. Was that, Hope's Peak Acedemy? He really hoped not, because he'd thought he was free from that place. If so, he would be furious.
As karma is, and karma does. It was Hope's Peak Acedemy. He'd gotten close enough to where he could tell. His blood boiled as he looked over the building, but he was finding it hard to stay angry. The Acedemy somehow looked. Happy? Perhaps, but either way it was weird and different. He really hoped this place wouldn't be like the Acedemy he knew.
Coming closer to the school he came to three paths, one that lead to the school, one that led further right, and one that led further left. He shrugged and went left. As he watched the petals float toward the ground something caught his eye, and the sound of water reached his ears. He raised an eyebrow and sped up, curious of what was to come.
When he got close enough, he noticed a fountain. That wasn't all, there was also someone standing in front of it. His mind spun with questions, as it registered who it was. White uniform, Black hair, proud stature. It could only be one person. A person he'd longed to see ever since that awful trial ended.
"I-Ishimaru...?!"
He called, causing the person to turn around. Sure enough, it was the rule orientated friend he'd come to know. The other's expression shifted to joy, as he moved forward slightly.
"Oowada!"
He walked toward his friend, then broke into a run. Soon crashing into him with a big bear hug. His eyes stung, threatening to leak tears of joy. He fought the urge to cry, while Ishimaru did not. They stood wrapped in an embrace. A dark question crossed his mind. Was he dreaming? If he died, and he's now here. How did Ishimaru get here? Mondo Calmed his expression, even though there was multiple questions running through his mind.
"Ishimaru I died and what's....."
He trailed off, trying to express all the questions he had. Ishimaru picked up, and began to explain.
"You're here, and so am I. We're dead Mondo, and everyone else that died before us. Is here."
Mondo's eyes widened, fearing of whom he knew he'd eventually see. Though instead of being vocal about his fears, he nodded. Inside he wondered, how Ishimaru died, and who he'd have to pummel for their punishment. But he pushed that thought away and sighed.
"It doesn't matter..... I'm home."
The song I intended for this was "Coming Home" By Skylar Grey. I figured it fitted while these two met up once more. I realize that Ishimaru died a while after Oowada, but I intended this to be explained simply. The victims were brought here immediately, and the murderers to be slightly punished for their wrong doings after they died, were left to wander. So Mondo finally made it to the haven which is run by Monomi (from DR2) because she seems like she'd be a good guider of these dead teenagers xD. So! I hope you enjoyed, and I'll be making another part soon!
