Finishing the Battle?

Kai's POV

The battle between father and son wore on. They both seemed to know who was going to win.

"Unless my light is bright enough!!" Lloyd bellowed.

I smiled. Nothing gave me better pleasure than knowing who had the upper hand.

"Oh it won't be in a moment." The Overlord possessed Garmadon yowled.

The next thing I was met with was blinding pain.

"KAI!!!!" Lloyd screamed.

I couldn't move. I felt hot blood rushing down my back, chest and the right side of my head.

This is it... I thought. I'm sorry Lloyd...

I looked up to see Lloyd, who had become just a golden blur in contrast to the purple clouds above. I smiled once again, to show him I was confident that he would win, then felt the sudden push of gravity as I started to fall.

Then everything went black.

I heard nothing...

Saw nothing...

Felt nothing...

Am I going to die??
