I feel so nervous, and I don't even know why.
Sitting in this office building I feel so out of place, everyone here is wearing 5 inch heels leather this' and leopard print that's, all these people look like they should be on the front cover of GQ.
Then here I am dressed in a plain blue shirt, black pencil skirt and worn out knockoff shoes , and sadly to say this is me when im looking my best.
If it wasn't for the Orphanage running low on supplies, food, water and the electricity bill , never in a million years would she be in such a high class building where rich people could turn their noses and laugh at her again , if it wasn't for those sweet innocent children I wou -
"Ms King? Mr Stanford is ready to see you now. Just go straight through that door. " the tall brunette, who I assumed to be the Secretary, said pointing to an office door.
"Oh thank you very much." I mumbled as I collected my belongings and hurried through the door I'd been shown.
As I entered the spacious office, the man behind the desk greeted me with a smile "good afternoon Mrs King- "
"Ms King " I interrupted him, "okay , so Ms King it is, please have a seat and let's get down to business sell we"
2 hours later
"Okay MS King, we will get back to you in a couple of days but I personally promise to do my best. You are doing a wonderful job and it is our duty to help you" he smiled as he shook my hand and ushered me out the door.
I couldn't help smiling at this sweet angel of a man "Thank you so much Mr Stanford, the whole orphanage will be waiting for your call"
I just can't help the happiness right now, just knowing that things will work out.
On my way to the elevator my phone my phone started ringing and as I am struggling to get it out I ran into a six foot something brick wall
"I'm so sorry" I started to say to the wall but it just mumbled it's okay and walked away .
"Rude much" was all I could manage to say as the stranger walk away .
