Phil
Phil Lester woke to the sound of his ear-piercing alarm clock. After flailing his pale arm around his nightstand, he found the button which silenced it. He got up, sleepily, and slid his glasses behind his ears and on the bridge of his nose.
He walked to the door of his room, and looked in the mirror he had hanging on the back of it. He had hair the color of a ravens' feathers, and his hair was soft as silk. Phil slipped on some black skinny jeans, and grey jumper that had foxes on it, along with his shoes.
In the kitchen, he grabbed his laptop bag, with his sketching pencils, paints, and brushes inside it, and lastly, his sketching pad.
Balancing a big pad of paper and a heavy bag, Phil managed the lights off, and the door locked.
About 10 minutes later, he made it to the coffee shop he usually attends every morning, expecting the same red-haired girl to make his usual, but it wasn't.
Today, on this Saturday, it was a boy.
He had the same "fringe" hair cut Phil did, but his swept to the right, and it was a soft brown that matched coffee. His eyes were the same color. Phil read the name tag on the uniform: Dan.
"Hello," Dan said, "what would you like?" His accent was southern, like where the queen lived.
"Uhm-..." Phil began, "just a plain, black, coffee," he said. Dan was cute. "Okay, your name?"
"Ph-Phil."
"Lovely name! Alright Phil, I'll make that right now."
Phil turned to find a seat in the cafe that was, surprisingly, empty. He found a seat at a small table underneath the painted-on logo of the shop: Coffee and Chocolate Cafe.
"Phil?" Dan called out. Phil reached the counter, and took his coffee, smiling and leaving.

He pushed open the doors as he walked into the corridor that used to be plain white, but was recently covered with student's art projects. Phil hoped they would take them down eventually. The projects were very distracting and they sometimes fell off the bland walls .
He pushed open his classroom door hoping some students would already be sketching. However, he was 5 minutes early. His teacher, Miss Pentland, was grading reports and sipping her tea. She was quite pretty, and she was the best teacher on campus.
"Good morning, Phil!" She greeted him with a smile. Phil smiled as he sat at his desk, setting his own coffee down on his table. He took his recent sketch out and continued to work on it. He was sketching a lion, which was his favorite animal.
Phil described the lion as unique because the lion's mane was a different color. He took out his colored pencil and began to shade the mane in. Minutes later, the bell rang and students walked into the classroom and took their seat.
"Oi! Freak!" P.J. snapped at Phil, strutting into the room with Chris trailing behind him. "Mr. Ligouri," Miss Pentland started, "I'm going to have to ask you to sit down, now."
"Or what?" He challenged. "P.J., you are a great artist," Which was actually true, he was great, "and I don't want to have to ask you to leave. So get to work."
Miss Pentland was enough to shut P.J. up until they left. Phil scurried out to get to his apartment he's renting.
But he didn't quite make it there in time....
