"Mum, I don't want to go to school! I'm really sick today! My stomach hurts and I have a headache.." I groan, clutching my stomach.
"Shut up, you twerp! Go to school and make that A+!" Mum screeched, slapping me in the face. She grabbed my backpack and put it on me forcefully.
I sobbed. "Mum! I can't. My stomach doesn't feel good!" I groan and puke on the floor.
Hatred glowered in her eyes. She pushed me out the door with my backpack on and slammed the door before I could do anything.
All I remembered doing that day was sobbing. My very own mother locked me out of the house and forced me to go to school.
But I didn't.
With my feet still bare, I ran. Where? I don't know. I just want to get far away from here, far away from them, far away from my childhood life.
And with that, I ran away without turning back. I was done with them, for good.
