Alex POV
" Hey Violet, wait up" I ran towards my childhood and best friend, with her cute dimples that appears whenever she smiles,her waist length black hair ,blueish green eyes and pale white skin,for a fifteen years old she really is beautiful.
"Hey penguin what's up?" She asked me amused.
"Are u still calling me that ?" I grimaced but secretly I love the nickname but I can't tell her because that will just make her call me that name everywhere and I can't have that happen now can I.
'Awwwwm did I hurt your ego? She asked while pouting her pink plump lips.
Damn how I wish to kiss that lip' I thought but I quickly pushed the thought away.
"No!!" I said crossing my leg over the wall and resting my hands at the back of my head.
"Well suck it up that's my nickname for you, so u gotta get used to it" Violet just shrugged and started walking back to the house. I watched her walk back home and all of a sudden she dropped to the floor but not before letting out a High pitched scream. I immediately ran to her and called our parents who were inside they immediately came outside while her dad Mr Scott called the ambulance. As they drove Violet my parents and I entered the car to catch up with the ambulance.
All that was going through my head was " would this be my last time with Violet ', Violet had Acute Lymphobatic leukemia and the she is in her last stage now but I never expected it to show up now the doctor told us 3-4 months more, so the shocked and fear running through me is on high.
I don't know how to survive if she goes away, she has been the only friend I have apart from Chris. She is the girl I have been crushing on since 13, and slowly that crush turned into love, yeah I admit it I love Violet and now I feel bad for not being the man I am and telling her my feelings and now with all thats going on I may never tell her.
"Alex let's go" my mum said,pulling me out of NY thoughts and I got out of the car and stood in front of the hospital and I mentally told myself to be prepared.
