He takes the first blow to the head and falls to the ground. When he comes back up, there is blood dripping down from the crown of his head where Lucille made contact.  He looks back up at Negan and knowingly.

"Oh, Look at that. Taking it like a champ!"

"Suck. My. Nuts." Abraham says between his last few breaths of air.

His last breath is shaky. The second blow sends him towards the ground again, this time he stays there, not because he wants to, but because he has to. His blood splatters the side of my face and drips down my neck and my clothes and onto the chilled, hard ground. I look down at it and then back up at Abraham's lifeless body.

I had never seen Eugene cry this much.  He normally looks like a 3 year old lost in Walmart but he's never cried like this. Rosita is sobbing. They're not the only two. Almost everyone except for Carl, Rick, Michonne and I.

I keep getting that awful sound of blunt object hitting skull echoing in my brain. Rick still isn't back. I get another flashback.

Daryl jumps up and throws his blanket off. He punches Negan square in the jaw and then is grabbed by Simon and held to the ground by two other guys.

Simon runs and grabs his crossbow and aims it right at Daryl's head.

"You don't kill that. Not until you try him. Put him back in line."

He is dragged back to his spot between Michonne and Rosita.

"Anyway, that's not how it works. I already told you people, first one's free. Then what'd I say? I said I would shut that shit down! No exceptions. Now I am a man of my word."

"Listen to me. Karma is a bitch.  A bitch that I am very good friends with and if you kill Daryl she'll let me cut the cake," I say.

"Aw sweetheart."" He plants his hand firmly on my shoulder so when I try to shrug it off it doesn't go anywhere. "It's alright. I'm not going to kill Daryl."

I feel a wave of happy emotions when he stands up and starts pacing back and forth.

Out of nowhere he runs up to Glenn and strikes him in the head twice.  When Glenn lifts his head up we can see the damage.  Crimson red liquid dripping down his face.  His left eye popped half way out of the socket.  The crown of his head has caved in with the force of the bat.

It takes a few moments but before long I'm finally crying.  My cold heart has snapped in half.  That crying turns into sobs and I break.  Completely and utterly break.  Nobody has ever turned on their waterworks with as much pressure as I did.

"Maggie, I'll Find You." His last words. Completely selfless.

Carl starts crying too. Not nearly as much as me, but he's crying. Everybody is crying.
