Another Lover

Chapter 1

We broke away from our kiss... "God, I love you!"

"I love you, too."

"I love you more."

"I love you more than infinity."

"I love you more than infinity and beyond," -he always wins. I love Gabe... Today was our three-year anniversary and we went on a picnic in the dark... Well, kind of. He called me at 8am and told me to be ready by 9. We spent the day together. When night came, he blindfolded me and took me out to the middle of nowhere and had a picnic. There were trees that had lights strung through them. There was a sheet spread out on the ground under them. It was perfect - just like Gabe. I caught myself staring at him. He looked at me and we smiled and he leaned forward and kissed me. "I can't stand it... I love you so much."

"And I love you." He looked like he was going to say something but didn't. Then said something. "I need to tell you something."

"Okay..." I was a little scared because he was serious and I could hear it in his voice. He was hardly ever serious.

"Are you sure you're ready?"

"Yea."

"Okay here it I goes... I'm... I'm Batman..."

"I hate you."

"You love me."

"I know." He kissed me again. This time we didn't pull back. My heart started racing. He put his right hand on the back of my head. His left hand spread my legs and layed them out flat. He layed between my legs and put his left hand under the back of my shirt. He started trailing his hand up my back making me let out a small moan. I backed off enough to where I could catch my breath but to where our lips still touched. "Gabe..." I whispered.

"Yea?"

"You're the only person that's ever made me moan like that."

"Well get used to it. It's going to happen a lot more," he said and gave that sexy half-smirk he always does.

"Oh my God."

"What?"

"Nothing," I said as I bit my lower lip.

The night breeze started to blow. 'Yes' I thought to myself. I love the powerful night breeze. I always have. I never knew why though.

"Alex?"

"Yea?"

"Why are you so damn beautiful?" I just blushed trying not to let it show by covering my face with my hand.

The wind was getting stronger and it made me sleepy. I lightly pushed him down on the blanket. I layed my head on his chest and I could feel his heart beating. The combination of his heart beating and the wind was perfect and made me fall asleep.

I woke up to Gabe moving around and shifting. I look up at him half asleep. "What time is it?"

"Around midnight."

"Ok. Well, we need to go."

"Why can't we stay here?"

"We can, but I want to go home and snuggle in bed."

"Fine. Anything for my baby girl." He got up and I was still laying down. "Come on."

"I'm tired... Carry me."

"The things I do for you." He picked me up bridal style and carried me to the car. "I love you."

"I love you too, baby girl." He closed the door and walked over and picked up the blanket and put it in the back seat. He got in the car and stared at me. I had my eyes closed but I was peeking a little. "What?"

"Nothing."

"Whatever."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Ok but you know I'm here if you ever need to talk."

"Yes! I know!" I yelled at him. "Ok. I hope so." Why was I thinking of that? I didn't want to think of it.
