Holy crap I ship these two so hard. Lemme explain why...
*coughs and pulls up Powerpoint*
In the comic, Twilight is stuck overnight at the train station and can't get home due to the snow outside. Cuppa Joe decides to stay and keep her company instead of going home. He then gets her and Spike some hot cocoa, and starts decorating the station so it's a little more cozy and home-like. Cuppa Joe and Twilight get along EXTRAORDINARILY well, and are very nice to each other. He also points out the book rack and talks about books with her when she tells him that she'd left her book at her dad's house.

In conclusion, Cuppa Joe goes well out of his way to make the sucky situation (not able to go home and see her friends, AND she lost her book) as best as it can be. And in the comic he does focus a little more on Twilight than Spike.
Rating: 10/10 - HOLY MOLY I LOVE THIS SHIP AND I'M SAD I'M THE ONLY ONE
