Dancing shadows

It's been a few weeks since he marked me as his mate and there is a large wolf tattoo on my back since the incident I've been staying at his house his name, it's Parker I find its cute cause I can call him parky and he gets annoyed we got to know each other too and tonight Parker is having his party tonight and he dropped me off at my apartment so I can find something to wear.

Picking up a red dress I held it against myself sighing as how it showed off the mark before laying it back on the bed looking in my closet i found a pair of black stilettos to match I put on my mothers diamond earrings that she had given me and curled my long tan brown hair and put on lip gloss and mascara, I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around my waist. 

"Hey"

Parkers husky voice sent shivers down my spine and I realized I was only wearing a towel!

 Quickly turning around and heading towards the bedroom to get dressed I felt a tug on the towel....oh hell no! the towel fell leaving me stark naked and Parker staring at me wide eyed I grabbed the towel and tried to cover myself up before dashing into my room and slamming the door, I grabbed my clothes and pulled them on and fixed my make-up I opened the door slowly and Parker was standing in the same spot still wide eyed staring at me which made me blush, He opened his mouth but closed it trying to say something, I shook my head and walked by him walking down the hall towards the door. when I got to the door all I heard was.

"Damn! She's hot!"

I laughed and briskly walked towards the car putting a bit of sway in my hips getting in I waited for him to come out, He walked out ever so calmly and opened the car door and got in buckling up and turned on the car, but instead of backing out of the driveway he turned towards me and he leaned me towards him and kissed me gently, letting go making me whine for more, Parker chuckled and pulled out of the drive way and drove down the road.

I stared out the window and then quickly took a glimpse at Parker who was staring at the road but oblivious to his surroundings I looked at the road  and saw something hit the car making me scream and shake Parker out of his thoughts as the car swerved around the road and soon came to a halt by hitting a tree and make everything go black.

I found myself on the ground as the moonlight grazed my back, looking up I saw something in the shadows swiftly moving between the trees but stopped and looked towards me with glowing hazel eyes as it stepped out of the woods I became more frightened and got up trying to back away my back soon hit a nearby tree, the beast stepped fully out of the shadows and I found myself staring at a black wolf but everything around us disappeared and the wolf lunged forward making the ground collapsed under my feet and I fell into darkness.  

I was shook out of my thoughts and woke up back in the car, looking around frantically I found Parker next to me his head still against the steering wheel and was bleeding, I turned towards the door and began kicking it trying to push it open, it soon gave way and fell off letting cold air rush in.

Shivering I quickly got out of the car and wobbled over to Parker's side and pulled on the door letting it give way making me fall to the ground, I got up and un-clipped his seat belt pulling him out of the vehicle and laid him down on the ground I reached in and pulled the keys out of the ignition throwing them out in the woods I ripped apart of my dress off and dabbed the wound on Parker head.

 Checking to see if he had any other wounds besides the cut on his head and calming when I found nothing wrong, getting up from the ground I looked around the trashed car for something to keep him warm I found his jacket and laid it on him and looked around the car for a phone.

Opening the glove-box I found his phone since I left mine at home, I quickly dialed 911 and answered there questions, I didn't know where we were but the operator said they can track the phone I'm calling on the operator said a police car and ambulance are on their way I nodded and said thank you before hanging up.

"hey....what..happened?"

I turned around to find Parker groaning and holding his head trying to get up, kneeling down by him I laid his head in my lap stoking his thick brown hair.

"we got in a car accident, it seems we hit a deer or something"

Parker groaned and cursed under his breath and looked towards the car.

"shit are you alright?"

I looked at him and found myself staring at his soft icy blue eyes, the sound of sirens filled the air and I looked down the road finding a small police trooper driving towards us along with a ambulance, they pulled up to us and picked parker up and put him in the ambulance while the officer asked me questions after finishing his question I got in the ambulance and sat on the bench, and we were sent to the hospital.

I sat next to parker who was getting stitches put in his head to help heal the cut, when something touched my hand shaking me out of my thoughts all I could think about was that black wolf somehow it kept creeping back into my thoughts, that little voice would not leave me alone asking me questions and why would I think about it.

"hey, what's wrong?"

I looked towards parker and shook my head.

"Nothing...it's nothing really"

His blue eyes sadden and then he smirked.

"We have to go back to work tomorrow"

I smiled, realizing how much I missed work, when parker marked me he took me home and told me he was going to keep me out of the workforce for a few days.

I was excited to go back cause I missed everyone there they were like my family. reaching down I grabbed my purse  off the floor and pulled out his phone passing it to him.

"Here.. You're going to need it for work"

parker took the phone and put it in his pocket, the doctor finished his stitches and told him that he doesn't need to come back since the string will dissolve over time he stood up and I followed him towards the front desk to pay the bill.

He signed the papers realizing I was staring, he smirked and finished writing passing the papers to the nurse he turned towards me and took my hand pulling me towards the doors calling a cab.

One pulled up and we got in heading towards parkers house.
