As I looked out the window of my new home I stopped to wonder, will I ever be want to be here? I had just moved to California from Minnesota, and I was not happy. I had left behind everything. My friends, my school, my boyfriend. Everything and everyone. My mother walked into my room and kindly said,"Are you done unpacking yet honey?" Not yet mom. I'll finish tomorrow."I said sarcastically. My moms face started to glow and she said,"Mary-Jane, you start school tomorrow!" Crap! That's right, I have to go to this posh private school called Vineland. I was not even close to being ready. "Goodnight mom, I'll see you in the morning."I cooed. "G-goodnight honey." She stuttered. I knew she was concerned. I turned off my light and laid down.
Beep,Beep,Beep."Ugh,dumb clock!" I smacked my alarm clock to shut it up. I hopped out of bed and got my uniform on. I had to wear a navy blue polo shirt with a knee-high black skirt."Hurry up Mary-Jane! We're gonna be late!!" Yelled my mother. "Coming!" I slipped my shoes on,grabbed my bag,and ran into the car.
We rode to the school in silence. We stopped in front of a large white building. My mom just looked at me and smiled. I knew that meant to get out of the car. I opened the door and stepped out. All I could think was that there is no going back now. Just go. I slowly approached the large metal doors and slowly opened them. This was my new life.
