I woke up in my own bed to the sound of my phone ringing it was mark "hello" i said in the most tired voice "hey how you doing" i blinked my eyes slowly "good good i am good i got to sleep in my own bed for once" i could almost hear his smile over the phone "that's great so um when do you want to plan on moving" i rubbed my face "ava is helping me pack today so in about a week i will be down there" i could here his sigh of relief over the phone "i am going to be so happy to see you again" i smiled big "me too markimoo well i am going to go back to sleep now" "alright bye honey" "bye!" I put my phone back on my dresser and fell back asleep

Time skip: about a hour later i herd a knock at the door i got up to go get the door when my legs feel asleep i fell over "WOW AHHH"i hit my head on the door knob everything went black i heard the door open and a scream till everything went silent as well as the word became cold
              (Ava's pov)
I knocked on the door to hear a scream good thing the door was unlocked i walked in to see (y/n) laying on the ground bleeding out of her head "AHHHHHH "i screamed at the sight of my friend almost dead "no no no" i picked up my phone and called for a ambulance

Time skip: i was sitting in the waiting chairs with her mother her mother was shaking. I held her mother's hand "i am so sorry Mrs.veronise are you ok do you need anything " she looked at me with tears in her eyes "no just stay here please" i gave a warm smile "ok" i kept holding her hand. As soon as i let go of her mother's hand (y/n) phone started ringing it was mark i answered the phone "hey how is moving going" "um hey mark" tears swelled in my eyes "ava? were-" i interrupted him "she is in surgery " "what? WHAT HAPPENED TO HER WHY IS SHE IN THE HOSPITAL" "we don't know yet " "i am coming down there i am in Dallas airport i had a lay over i am getting a flight to Austin right now" " wait ma-" he had already hung up i sat back down almost crying. My best friend near death because i knocked on the door. Had i not just walked in like usual i wouldn't fell like this was my fault i don't know what i was thinking. Why, why did i have to knock what's wrong with me i sat back down and got comfortable and then drifted of to sleep trying to forget what was happening

2 hours later: i felt someone or something sit next to me. i opened my eyes to see mark siting there tapping his foot he was scared he was nerves. (Y/n)'s mother was fast asleep i sat up "hey mark" "oh hey are you ok" i rubbed my eyes "ya i am fine how are you" "scared" he looked down a short nurse walked over with a clipboard i woke up her mother "um are you the family of Mrs.(your last name)" her mother stood up "yes how is my baby" the nurse had a smile on her face "steady she is steady we still need to keep an eye on her" mark stood up and asked "can we see her yet" the woman looked at him as if he had never seen a mirror before "are you part of her family" her mother stepped in "um yes they are her uh sister and brother" the  nurse raised one eyebrow "ok? Right this way" she lead us to the room were she was. mark rushed in he stopped when he saw her hooked up to tubs
               (Mark's pov)
I ran into the room thinking she was going to be up but she was just laying there a shell of a person for the time being "honey?" I walked over to her bed "are you up?" I asked hoping,just hoping for something but i got nothing she had a rap around her forehead i was getting really scared "please walk up" i sat down in a chair next to her i held her hand i looked down until she squeezed my hand i looked up at her "mark?" I smiled "yes i am here i am right here "i'm sorry" i squeezed her hand a little harder "no no don't be sorry this was not your fault it was no one's fault ok?" She smiled "ok i love you" i leaned over to but my head on her chest she put her hand on my head i started to tear up "y-you are going t-to be ok right?" She leaned down and kissed me on the head "i am going to be just fine" "oh my baby!" Her mom yelled as she walked in i stood outside of the room ava was leaned up against the wall  looking pissed "this is not your fault" i said to ava she started crying as she slid down the wall to the ground "yes it is i knocked instead of coming in like normal why the hell did i do that" "don't blame yourself it just makes things worse alright?"
