Callie POV
a few weeks had passed since me and Brandon were living in the same house again. every moment near him was awkward and uncomfortable, and everyone in the family could feel it. I couldn't imagine living like this forever, it was nearly unbearable and this was only the beginning. I was about to head upstairs when the doorbell rang. I turned to get it.
Talya- hi Callie
Callie- Talya, what are you doing here?
Talya- I'm supposed to meet Brandon
Callie- oh
just then Brandon appeared coming down the stairs
Brandon- hey
Talya- hey, ready to go
Brandon- yeah, lets go
Brandon turned to me before they left
Brandon- you'll tell moms where I went?
Callie- yeah.. sure
Brandon- okay, seeyah
Callie- bye
I found myself extremely bothered by this, I mean he had every right to go out with other girls. but it still hurt me.
Brandon POV
me and Talya had gone to a movie. we weren't back together, I felt bad I was in a way just using her as a distraction from Callie. when I got back home I went inside and ran into Callie.
Brandon- hey
Callie- did you have fun?
Brandon- yeah, the movie wasn't great
Callie- so you and Talya are like back together?
Brandon- what? no, I don't know.. were just hanging out, do you have a problem with that?
Callie- well you just could have told me?
Brandon- ha.. your saying that to me
Callie- what?
Brandon- your the one that broke it off with me!
Callie- so this is just punishment!
Brandon- no! but you have no right to say anything about me spending time with Talya
Callie- I don't have a choice, this is how things have to be!
Brandon- then you never should have kissed me! you never should have gotten my hopes up just to be crushed
she was taken aback by what I had said and didn't really know how to respond.
Callie- I'm..I'm sorry Brandon
I just turned and went upstairs, closed the door to my room and blasted music in my ears.
