Dezel still couldn't believe it once he had decided to answer the call, hearing the soft hoarse voice of who he loved so dearly.

"Dezel? Thank goodness you answered! I'm okay, don't worry. The girl is fine as well, just terrified. Is everything okay?!"

"Not so well........everyone acts like........they're dead. Ever since you.........well.......you know."

There was a pause, silence filling the air, the only noises were groans of pain. Was Violetta really okay? She certainly protect any child or person that needed help, especially the little girl. Worry filled Dezel's heart, the pain of the feeling soon spreading like a wild fire.

"Violetta........"

"Y-yes?"

"Are you sure you're okay? You sound like you're hurting!"

"My........scars reopened........that's all. Luckily I had bandages with me, so don't worry. I'm perfectly fine. And I'll be returning back to the village tomorrow morning."

"Okay........just......be careful alright?"

"I will. I love you Dezel."

"Love you too...."

Dezel looked at the window, this time with a smile. His love was coming back. With the child. Alive. Now he could sleep in peace, but something bother him. Something that was hidden away from him.

Sighing, the 20 year old woman stared at her scroll, wincing in pain with her slight movements. She had lied to her lover, the man she loved so dearly. Her scars did reopened, but many cuts and bruises now litter her body. The scars of an angel's and demon's wing was now revealed to the eye if seen closely. Her cloak now full of holes and wear. The little girl beside her looked over her with care and worry, asking one simple question.

"Rest, please?"

"Very well............"
