I know I deserve better.
I deserve flowers, and
warm hugs, reassurance that I am good enough, but
there is something about you.

And it's painful to know that you always cross my mind,
When the last conversation we've had was months ago.

I need to move on and find better, but
why look for someone else?

Why learn about someone else's dreams, hopes, and goals?
The way they like their coffee in the morning and
their favorite type of music to listen to when
I already learned that about you?

Please just, stay.
