My name is Kelly, and I'm a cheer leader. Anyways I heard there was a new kid that had moved to town. I hadn't seen him yet but didn't think I would ever like him. I was at the beach with some friends and a big group of boys playing soccer ran past and we're fighting over the ball. A boy I had never seen before stood out in the crowd. He saw me and stopped. The team left still playing and he stood there smiling at me. He realized that it was kind of weird that he was standing there watching me and ran back to the team. Later when it was getting dark him and his friends made a fire on the beach next to us. "He is starring at you Kelly, I think he likes you" one of my friends said. I looked up to see the same kid from earlier looking at me. "What's his name?" I asked "um I think it's Daniel" she told me "he's new" she added. I looked at him and he was really cute...no he was hot. He was so perfect. I could tell his friends were talking about me because they were all talking to Daniel and looking at me. One of them pushed the soccer ball over me so Daniel would have to come get it. I stood up and handed him the soccer ball. He smiled "so how do you do that thing with your knees" I asked "it's simple" he said "just put the ball on ur knees and hit it up" he did it but I couldn't do it. "I'm Daniel" he said "I'm Kelly" I said blushing he smiled. "Wanna go for a walk?" And motioned towards the water "I would love to!" I said he smiled and we walked towards the water and walked along it. We talked about each other and where he was from. We started to head back up when the sound of dirt bikes filled the air. And I knew it was Johnny...my ex. He hates to see me with other boys. He saw us and him and his group walked up to us. "What do you think your doing?" Johnny asked Daniel. "He was just taking me for a walk...Johnny...leave him alone" I said Johnny looked at Daniel and poised him down and 2 other ones pinned him down. "Daniel!!" I yelled but one of them grabbed me "let him go!!" I yelled and finally got out of his arms and ran towards Daniel. I pushed at Johnny but he would move so I slapped him. Johnny paused and looked at me. He stood up "hey..you get away from her!!" Daniel yelled but Johnny didn't listen. Then he slapped me back and I fell right by Daniel. And grabbed my face. Daniel got really mad kicked the one that pinned him and got up and punched Johnny and Johnny punched him back. "Daniel!!" I yelled and ran towards him and grabbed his face "are you ok?" I asked "ya I'm fine" he said and Johnny and his hang left laughing. But I chased after them and got behind Johnny and kicked him. "Kelly no!!" Daniel yelled and ran after me. Johnny turned and pushed me down. Daniel ran towards me and sat me in his lap. And they left. I started crying into Daniels chest. "I'm sorry" I sobbed "it's not ur fault he said and hugged me. "See u at school tomorrow" I said and left crying. I couldn't wait to see Daniel.
