Once upon a time, at California, a girl named Catherine Rose was calmly watching a movie. She was 6 years old at that time. The exciting part of the movie was about to start but then, her mom called her "Cath, someone at the door wants to see you." Hmm, who could it be? Catherine thought. Catherine opened the door. Standing there, was her best friend, Emily Smith. "Hello Catherine! A new boy moved in! Want to play with him?". Catherine replied "Yes, of course!". They both went out of the house and went next door. Emily knocked and immediately, a tall, slender, blond haired boy opened it. He was about 7 years old. "Hi! We are your new neighbors. I'm Catherine Rose but you can call me Catherine and this is Emily, my best friend." Catherine said. "Can I call you Rose? It's much easier. Nice to meet you by the way." The boy responded. "Yeah, sure. By the way, I didn't get your name." Catherine said. "Oh, yeah. I'm Vince Tony." Vince replied. "Cool. Want to play?" Emily invited. "Sure!" Vince replied.
Catherine's POV
I, Emily and Vince went to Emily's backyard. Emily's mom made us cookies. She also handed us toys. "So, Tony, where'd you come from?" Emily asked. "Call me Vince." Vince replied.
"Yeah..." Emily muttered.
An awkward silence filled the atmosphere so I decided to break it. "Hey guys, want to-" I was interrupted by a loud hello. It was Ethan Smith, Emily Smith's older brother, about 7 years old. He has chocolate brown hair and he's very outgoing."Oh, this is my brother, Ethan. Ethan, this is Vince Tony." Emily said. "Hey Tony!" Ethan greeted.
"Call me Vince." Vince said.
"Yeah, so, what are you guys up to?" Ethan asked. "We were just playing." I told him. "And eating cookies!" Emily added while she took another bite of cookie. Suddenly, someone called. Vince grabbed an iPhone 7 from his pocket and answered the call. Emily and Ethan exchanged glances. Yeah, how could a 7 year old boy own an iPhone? "Oops, I have to go now. Nice meeting you." And with that, he left. "He owns an iPhone!" Emily screamed. "Ikr!" I said. "Yeah, rich kid." Ethan said. "Well, see you guys later then. It's my curfew." I said and went home.
