"What next po? They will live happily ever after na po ba sila?" A four year old boy innocently asked her. Bakas sa mukha ng bata ang pagkagustong malaman ang wakas ng kwento.
Bilang sagot ay isang tipid na ngiti ang isinukli nito sa batang lalaki. Tsaka hinimas-himas at ginulo-gulo ang buhok ng bata.
Tumango siya bilang tugon.
"Every story has its own meaning of a happy ending." Nais niya sanang idagdag pero nanatiling tikom ang kanyang bibig.
"I want another story pa po please?"
She gasp silently.
"Okay baby. But after this you go to sleep na ha?"
He nodded.
"My next story was entitled... The other half."
After saying those phrase. A memories from the past flashes at her vision.
This is her story.
Her story as the dauntless wife.
Her point of view as the other half.
Her battles.
Her fights.
Her pains.
Her thousand tears.
Her sacrifices.
In the end, it will be paid off?
