"Wait so.... What's going on?"
"Oh come on Mah, it's not that weird for me to bring my new boyfriend home so that you and Mom can meet him."
"I know darling," Mom said, smiling
"Your mother and I are just worried about what we've heard about this man." Mah smiled, trying to get a rise out of me
"You did research on Levi?" I looked at my mothers confused
"Of course, we asked around about him. We don't want our little (Y/n) to be dating a hooligan~" Mah laughed
"He's not a hooligan."
"Are you going to argue with your 'when he asked me out' speech?" Mah mocked
I blushed looking at the ground and thinking to four months ago.
--Four months ago--
"Good morning!" Eren called to me as I entered the cafe once again
"Morning," I said as I walked in and yawned
"The usual?" Eren asked
"Sure, why not?" I shrugged and paid him. I walked over to sit and wait for Levi to call me for my drink
"(Y/n)." Levi called, his voice just about to crack
"Y-Ya?" I questioned, blushing
"Here" He handed me the cup, I turned it to look at my name, I could only imagine what Eren wrote on it this time to make Levi pronounce it right...
Wait... this handwriting isn't Eren's...it's...
"Will you go on a date with me?" Levi asked, repeating the note in his beautiful handwriting.
"Yes!!" I called looking back at him and shakingly putting the cup down because I didn't want to drop it
"Really?!" Eren said surprised smiling as he put his arm on top of Levi's head and looked at me
"Eren, you have a line of customers..." Levi said, a light (almost unnoticeable) blush tinting the tips of his ears and lightly marking the underline of his eyes. Eren rushed back to work and I smiled at Levi. I pulled out one of the napkins and stole a sharpie from someone waiting behind me.
"Well, Levi, I have to get to work now. I have to go in because of paperwork and stuff. If you need me, or you want to set up this date, you can reach me here." I wrote down my phone number and email (in case he was as much of a "dinosaur" as people said he was--meaning he hated texting). I handed it to him and winked as I returned the marker back to the person who lent it and headed out the door with a wave and a jump in my step.
--Present--
"OOOoooo," Mah said standing in front of me "Darling, he has it bad~ Our little boy is in love!!"
"Could you guys be less weird when he shows up?" I asked pinching the bridge of my nose in irritation. It's not like I don't love my mothers--like I love them so much--but it's just slightly irritating how they can get when I bring a friend home...and today I'm bringing my first boyfriend home...
This is going to be fun...
"When is he going to come over?" Mom asked as she walked to the kitchen to start cooking
