Ryder's P.o.V.

Ryder,come on." Jensen said as he threw the door open. "Fine." I got out of bed and put on jeans and an old t-shirt. "Hurry up,douche." Robert said,swinging around his axe. "Ugh. What crawled up your ass and died?" "You,that's what." "Okay." I said as I slipped my shoes on. Jensen picked up my trident pendent and ran outside of the cabin with it. "Oh,you bastard." I got up and sprinted out the door. "Give it!" I whined. "Come and get it!" "Okay." I turned myself into water vapor and flew into the air. "Wait,where'd you go?" "Somewhere." I said. I flew 3 feet above him and turned back into myself. "SURPRISE!" I shouted. "What the fu-" I grabbed onto his wrist and brought it behind his back. "Uncle!" He yelled. I grabbed my sword and jumped. "Bye!" I went into a dive and crashed into the water. I summoned a big hand made of water. I reached out and grabbed him with it. "Thanks." He said." I set him back on land and swam to shore.

Now can we go to the sword arena?" Robert asked. "Yeah." We started to walk over to the arena. "Today's Wednesday,right?" "Yep." "So we spare today?" "Yeah." "Wait,we need the others." I said,pausing. "Oh,yeah." We went back over to the cabins. "I'll get Ben from the Ares cabin,Ryder,get Memphis from the Apollo cabin, and Robert get Aden from the Hermes cabin. Then we'll meet up and get the rest." "Deal."

"3,2,1,begin!" I shouted. We were on two teams;Jensen, Robert, Memphis, Aden, Cole, and I were on the blue team, and Ben,Gatlin,Baxter,Riley,Fred,and Arran were on the red team. We all had different weapons,like I had a 3 foot sword made of celestial bronze,Jensen had a 5 foot javelin made of imperial gold,Robert had an axe made of stygian iron,Aden had an imperial gold foot long dagger,Memphis had a quiver of all 3 metals with a bow,of course. Cole had a hammer with stygian iron spikes,Ben had a 4 foot spear made of celestial bronze,Gatlin had a glock 48 with imperial gold bullets,Baxter had a scythe made of stygian iron,Riley had an assortment of knives, Fred had 20 Shurikens made of imperial gold,and Arran had celestial bronze knuckles.

I made a dash for Gatlin,because he would be difficult to handle with the gun and all. I ran at him with my sword in front of me. When he shot at me,I swung my sword and blocked the bullet. "Missed!" I said. "Missed again,and again,and again." I kept dodging the projectiles until one grazed my arm,drawing blood. "Shit!" I said. I summoned a bubble of water and healed myself. "Don't get cocky with me,Ryder." "Well,try and find me now! Then I created a hurricane and started to go around him until dust was everywhere. I then jumped out of the hurricane,making it dissipate, and said mockingly,"Where am I? I'm behind you,I'm over you,I'm in front of you!" I said from 6 feet to the left of him. "Come out!" Gatlin shouted. "Okay." I snuck behind him,grabbed the barrel of the glock,swung it around so it was behind him,then bent his arm and put my sword to his throat. "You're out!" I said. By now,all the dust had settled. "Fine." I threw him his gun. I turned to see almost everyone else having a bit of a hard time. Jensen and Robert were fine,but the others were sweating. I sprinted over to help Aden,who was fighting Riley,and tackled Riley to the ground. I grabbed a wicked sharp knife off of his belt and held it to his throat. "Ugh." Riley and Aden said at the same time. "Sorry. I'll sit out." I said as I got up. I walked over to the bleachers.

"There's a group of 12 demigods! Just over the border!" Chiron shouted. "Wait,what? There hasn't been a group of demigods that big ever since we came 3 years ago!" Baxter shouted. "Well,this is probably not good." "Why?" "Well," I started,

"A week before we came, Percy Jackson disappeared. That could mean we'll disappear." "The only reason Percy disappeared was Annabitch." "Hey,kid. Shut up about my wife." Said a tall guy with blonde hair,blue eyes, and a spear at his side. "Well,it's her fault my older stepbrother left. And your's." "Well,he was weak anyway. He took multiple kids hostage-" "What? Other kids left,too?" "Whoops." He said. "I'm gonna talk to Chiron after we get these demigods." "I'm gonna get them before you!" He turned and ran. "Battle formation,GO!" I yelled.

I made a hurricane (Again) and flew over there. Jensen was using the wind to fly over with his javelin waving in front of him. Robert was surrounded by 20 skeleton warriors armed with everything from rusty swords to rifles. Ben had determination in his eyes with blood red armor and a blood red shield. Cole was engulfed with flames and had his hammer in sludge hammer mode,which had a longer handle and bigger head. Aden was invisible somewhere. Gatlin was running full sprint with Glock in hand. Riley had a sharp-ass knife in each hand. Baxter had his black wings out and was above Jensen,scythe in hand. Arran was behind me with his fists clenched. I couldn't see anyone else,but they were probably in the big-ass army in between Jensen and me. When we reached the hill,we almost stopped. There was an army of 1000 monsters. "Oh,shit." Jensen said.

"Those on the ground,surrounded the army as much as possible and push back. Those in the air,attack from above." My little squad went above and started swooping down to slash. In 5 minutes,100 of the monsters were gone,but we were the only ones fighting,while everyone else stood there and watched. "What the hell! Get your asses over here!" Robert yelled. They just stood there. "Whatever. Just get archers over here." 10 kids from the Apollo cabin got in front of the crowd and started launching volleys at the monsters.

"Need any help?" I heard a familiar voice say. I turned towards the woods and saw ria,my cousin,daughter of Zeus, and Jensen's real sister,and the followers of Artemis,with the virgin goddess herself. "Hey! Well,could you handle the hellhounds over by Baxter,the one with the big wings and Artemis,milady,could you help me?" "Sure." We started to run into the army. We fought side by side,chopping and slashing monsters. Artemis was using a foot long knife to chop. "Look out!" I shouted. I picked up a trident from a fallen drancnae and threw it at a hellhound that almost attacked her. "Thanks." She said. "No problem."

She pulled out her bow and started shooting. I rolled under a hellhound and sliced it in half. "Thank you,Artemis. You did great with your bow." "And you did great with your sword. I am going to help out my hunters,and you help out your friends." "Yes,ma'am." I mock saluted and ran off.
