As I set the final few boxes near my mahogany dresser my mother came in with a tea tray and snacks. Setting the tray down , she sat on my bed and I joined her. "How's it coming along?" "Pretty good, I just got the last two boxes in."

Sighing I laid back against the plush comforter, "Well sweetie, I was going to say if you aren't to tired you're welcome to explore the town before your week at the Highschool begins buuuut- "
I cut her off before she could say anything else. "No no I'm not sleepy, I'd love to go see the town but what're Nick and Bella up to?" My mother motioned to the house next door, "You can join them with the neighbors kids, something about green bean casserole and board games."

I simply rolled my eyes and then I heard a knock at our door , furrowing my brow I wondered out loud "Who's home?" A playful smile appeared on my mothers face "Not sure Hun, maybe you should go check."

With that I sprinted down the steps and unlatched the door "Coming!!" And to my surprise my best friend Summer jumped into my arms giggling. "Omg! What're -" "I'm spending the weekend with you! We moved a few miles out from where you are and it's great to see you." While she took a big gasp of air and exhaled we ran upstairs and I thanked my mother for the surprise and we were finally left to do some catching up.

Buzz buzz Summers phone lit up as it vibrated on my night stand taking it I saw the message displayed on the screen
Jonah : "Party: 11:30 , Place: 7293 east Blvd lane" ;) turning to Summer I squealed "I know what we're doing tonight!!" She took her phone and threw my closet open "We've got an hour to get ready, do you have anything higher than 4 inches??"
      
I pointed at a shoebox and went down stairs to tell my parents I'd be out late and to not set the alarm I walked up to see Summer in an All Time Low tank top, acid washed shorts and her blonde hair teased into a bun.

"You like?" "I love, but you need a little something..hmm" I turned to open my jewelry box and handed her a small tiara and a star ring. "I'll get this on, go get ready." I came out moments later with a short black top , converse heels and my red and black tutu my hair was teased and I had my necklaces and make up done.
"What do you think?" I said grinning. "You're drop dead gorgeous!!" She glanced at my alarm clock "Omg, Mar we gotta go!"

Arriving at a large White House at the edge of town the music blared and strobe lights illuminated the whole place.

Racing up the steps we entered as smoke rolled around us from a fog machine. Jonah, Summers boyfriend found us first shouting something nearly inaudible I caught the end of his sentence "-The black light room with Summer!?"

"You guys go on without me! I'm gonna go dance a bit!" And with that they disappeared into the crowd.
