"CHLOE!!! Get down here NOW!!!" my aunt screamed at me.

"Aunt Mary I can not because you have locked me in my room." I say calmly, and the next thing I knew I hear a huff and her walking up the stairs. I heard a click and aunt Mary came in. She was my guardian ever since my parents past away, however she hated me. Like I was dirt beneath her feet.

"Go to the shops and get all the things on this list or else!" she said suving money and a list in my hands.

"Yes aunt Mary" I learnt it was best to do as she says or else I would get in a lot of trouble. She left the room and I grabbed a black jumper to keep myself warm and walked out of the house.

The fresh summer breeze hitting me in the face moving my hair so you could see the scar on my head. I have no idea why I have it I just do. I placed the list and money in my pocket and looked up to the sky to see it was light blue with some white puffy clouds.

"Meow!"

I snapped my head to the front of the driveway to see a lovely tabby cat sitting there staring at me.

"Hello there, little one" I said kneeling down in front of it and scratching behind its ears. It purred and leaned into my hand.

"I have to go to the shops otherwise I will get into big trouble." I said standing up the cat looked at me as though it had sympathy in its eyes. It's true though I am 11 years old and stuck with a family who hates me, so i'm basically an outcast.

I start walking to the shop, which is a long way from home it will take me about 30 minutes to get there and 30 minutes to get back. Why does my aunt hate me so. I didn't ask for any of this.

As I continued walking I felt like something was following me. I did not like it. Turning around I saw the tabby cat again.

"Come to join me?" I said to the cat.

"Meow"

"I'll take that as a yes," I said and continued to walk.

~~~Time skip back from the shops and in the driveway~~~
The sky was grey now and started to spit with ran. The tabby cat looked scared.
"Do you have a place to stay?" I asked.
The cat seemed to shake its head.
"Alright you see that window. Thats my bedroom window I will open it so you can stay for the storm that seems to be coming." I say. From what I thought the cat understood.
I went inside the house and put the bags on the table.
"Chloe come here." my aunt called. I went up stairs to see her looking a bit scared with an open letter in her hand, with what looked like a crest upon it and when I looked closer it was addressed to me.
"What is that aunt Mary?" I asked my voice full of curiosity.
"None of your business you idiot! Why my brother and his stupid wife had to have you I have no idea!" my aunt screamed at me and chucked me into my very small room and locked the door.
"Don't say a word against my parents!" I scream. She just laughed at me a rea evil laugh through the door and left.
Ahhh! Why? Why her she has never liked me yet i'm still here and she read a letter that was meant for me. me . I never get letters from anyone. I want to know but there is no way she will let me see it.
Just then i hear a soft bangng on my window. I look up to see the tabby cat. I walked up to the window and tried to open it. LOCKED! Ahhh! My aunt never lets me do anything I was really angry know and all of a sudden the window slid open. Did I do that?
"Come on in," I say to the feline that was looking around my room. It was very little. I had a small single bed that took up half the room, a small desk with limited supplies, a tiny dresser for my clothes and a lamp,which was turned on.
I closed my window and went to my desk to read a text book. My aunt gave me hundreds of textbooks because she did not want me going to a public school to 'ruinen her image' her words not mine. I'm not even sure if she has a good image, if she does she doesn't show it to me.
The tabby cat comes and sits on my textbook and stares at me.
"What do you want?" I said to the cat calmly it nodded to the window which was now full on raining. I opened the window and the cat started to push me out of it.
"Hey!" I said to the cat, "If you want me to go out there then let me get a few things, like my coat." the cat seemed to nod at me.
I came back into my room and grabbed a bag and put some spare clothes and water into it. I also grabbed my coat and my umbrella. I put my coat on and I grabbed some small black boots that just about fit.
"Ok i'm ready, where do you want me to go?"
The cat was on the desk and had something under its paw. I came closer and looked at it. It was a note but wait...how did...I...ok I don't know how the note got here.
It read:
'Go on the roof and wait. There will be someone to pick you up and you will be happy, I promise...'
"Do I follow or do I not? Hmm...let's start an adventure." with that said I climbed out my window and onto the roof the cat close behind me. I put my umbrella up and sit uper it withe the cat on my lap.
Suddenly, I hear a buzzing and wheels rolling on the ... roof?
I turn to see...
