While playing with the Rubik's cube Lucy saw an eclectic streak of light pass away and then a

"BAAANNNGGGG". She was fearful of going to the place where that thing landed at this time of the

night but she felt like something was prodding her to go there. Finally she plucked up the courage

and decided to take her dog Pluto with her. The way was not actually a way in fact Lucy was leaving

a trail which only some animal will follow. With all those Goosebumps and gooseflesh she reached

the place and found nothing but silver tinted stone of the size of Pluto.

She spent an hour inspecting it and then the fearful barks of her dog which were really seldom broke

her focus. She realized it was too late for her to be there and she ran back to her home. She was

stuffed to her gills with excitement to tell her boss about everything. She didn't sleep and had an

early bath. When she reached her office and went to her boss 's cabin, she found to her utter

amazement that he already knew everything and told her that they were assigned the task to study

the Martian specimen of bolide and submit the reports ASAP.

After the radioactivity experiment of the meteor it was found that it radiated some new kind of

radiation which has a very atypical effect on the germ cells of every organism. A board meeting was

organized to decide its test on homo sapiens to check the ultimate insinuations.

Lucy volunteered to be the surrogate mother through artificial insemination. The treated embryo

was planted in Lucy's womb. Neither she felt anything unusual nor the doctors found any strange

symptoms throughout the gestation period.

And finally when the baby was delivered it looked like a normal baby boy. But as the years went by

the boy started showing some strange features .

He remained a toddler even at the age of five. He preferred raw meat to cooked. Hairs started to

grow all over his body. He was a perfect example of atavism .

It was inferred from this that the radiations causes a mutation to reverse the evolutionary order of

the organism and thus makes it more prone and vulnerable to extinction. The Martian origin of the

meteor suggested that these radiations caused the extinction of life from the face of it when a huge

mass of this radioactive material hit it millions of years ago.
