Marry me, Marry me - Kageyama x Hinata

{Part 1}

"WHAT??!!" Hinata was surprised by the sudden proposal that he got from Kageyama. Kageyama said, "I just said it, BOKE. I don't like saying things twice. I love you" Hinata wanted to say something, but his mouth couldn't move. After about 10 seconds of silence, Hinata managed to say, "But... you're a boy." Kageyama replied, "So?". Hinata said, "But... you're a boy and I'm also a boy. How do you love me..." Kageyama answered like he was expecting me to say this: "I don't care if you are a boy or not. Gender doesn't matter. I love you, and that is all that matters. Can you be my g..boyfriend?"

Hinata muttered, "but... I don't know..." and looked at Kageyama. Yes, he had many weird feelings towards Kageyama that normal friends or teammates don't have towards each other. For example, I catch myself staring at Kageyama whenever I am not doing volleyball. I hang out with him very many times and find myself enjoying the time with him so much, that I don't even think of volleyball at times. If I was like this towards a girl, then many people would probably have been telling me that this feeling is love. However, Kageyama is a boy!! The same gender as me!! How could it...

"Gender doesn't matter."

"I love you, and that is all that matters."

That is what Kageyama just said, and Hinata is thinking about it now. "Yes. I think so... I think I love him too."

Hinata looked up and looked at Kageyama straight in his eyes, determined. He could feel the temperature in his body increase, as his heart thumped faster and louder.

Hinata finally answered, "I like you too... Kageyama... I couldn't tell you because I thought you will be grossed out, and because I wasn't certain that this feeling was 'love'. But now, after you told me that you love me, my heart is telling me that I feel the same as you. I love you too, Kageyama."
