Jayla POV
I sat in the doctor's office with August.
Odell couldn't come so August did.
The doctor walked in
Dr. Shaw - hi Mrs. Beckham. I'm just going to check the baby's vitals. I thought I would see Odell with you.
Yeah Odell comes to my appointment so Dr. Shaw knows him.
Aug - this is my baby.I'm the father.
I looked at August.
The doctor checked the baby's vital and then we listened for a heart beat.
For a while we couldn't hear anything.
August looked at me, he held my hand.
Finally we heard a heartbeat.
Aug - oh thank god
I let out a sigh of relief.
Dr. Shaw - okay the baby is really healthy.
I smiled.
Dr. Okay see you in 8 weeks.
We left.
August POV
Jayla got out the car and walked in the house I followed her in the house.
I might go back to Atlanta after the baby is born. I haven't made my mind up yet on whether or not I'm going. But I think Jayla should at least know.
Aug - Jay I might go back to Atlanta after the baby is born.
She was quiet for a minute
