I sat on the couch looking at TV. Tamar has been texting me for the past half hour. I told dad hoe I was busy.
The door opened. Jayla walked in
Jayla - hey August
Aug - hey Jay
Jayla - I broke it off with Odell August. I love you.
Aug - you flew all the from Louisiana to Atlanta to see me.
Jayla - I was stupid to choose Odell baby

I kissed her.
Jayla - can you do me a favor Auggie?
Aug - what you want
Jayla - Wake up August
My eyes opened. Damn it's only a dream. I wish dat dream would come true.
Chris stood over me.
Chris - c'mon nigga let's go. You forgot we gotta go to the studio.
Aug - duh I was sleep.
I grabbed my jacket and walked out.
Jayla POV
6:00PM
I was waiting for Odell to get back from practice.
Lauren called me.
Jayla - hey
She was crying.
Jayla - what's wrong
Lauren - I might be pregnant
Jayla - oh my gosh that's great. What did Chris say?
Lauren - I haven't told him. I'm scared he might not want the baby.
Jayla - he has to know.
Lauren - ight Ima tell him when he comes back.

Odell walked in.
Jayla - I gotta go

Odell put his duffel bag on the floor.
He walked over to me and tried to kiss me.
Jayla - no you stink go shower.
He smacked his lips , walking in the bathroom.
Jayla - yo food in the microwave good night.
