            I slept soundly on Lapis' lap, surprisingly it was a perfect temperature for me, if only Lapis could know what I feel for her. She has the power of water, but yet so calm and quiet most of the time, I think she's still asleep, so, I should be fine for now.

           I was up and going working on the hole I created in the barn and trying to patch it up by using my telekinesis, Lapis helped me along the way as well, Soon it was all patched up as the sun was going down, it was a fresh Autumn day as well, warm breeze that carried leaves through the air, it was only me and Lapis at the time. I wanted to do something special but I couldn't bring my self up to it, though I was happy with where I was. We had a great friendship at the time. But. I wanted to bring it up to the next level so I went to Amethyst, since she was the closet person nearby, Besides Lapis. That's when I made the promise to confess to Lapis tomorrow plus, Steven is taking us to a pumpkin carnival since it's October here in Beach City.

           "Peridot did you eat all the cupcakes again," Lapis looked at me arms crossed. "Those were supposed to be for Steven!!". I paused then hiding a orange cupcake behind my back my face full of frosting trying to rub it off before I turned to see her right infront of my face. I jumped yelling "Oh my stars!". She laughed at it saying just don't do it again, and that they were supposed to be for snack if we got hungry at the carnival. "Lapis you do know that you can buy stuff there, including snacks?". She froze as I said these words, I laughed. She was always so cute about how she froze up blushing when she was embarrassed. That's when I knew I had to I had to ask Lapis out. I just couldn't hold it in so I just ran out of the barn, leaving Lapis confused as I dunked my head in the water saying "I have to ask her out" When I got a breath of air. Lapis was in the backround while I said that. Blushing.
