A story about this enthusiastic yet somewhat mischievous girl and her newfound crush. Their meeting could only have been fate because they were tailor-made for each other. They didn't realise when, but them playing around changed to a bond that seem...
"Yea ? Well, she likes coffee more than both of them put together!" Alex shot back at her as Nora and I giggled silently.
"She likes coffee better, blah blah blah..." Kate narrowed her eyes and mimicked him.
"God, she makes me puke," Alex started ranting.
Kate was going to say something but suddenly her face lost its colour. She then nervously proclaimed, "Oh my goodness nooo. He's back!" And sure enough, I looked up to see a pitbull mix, off-leash, staring at us.
As soon as we noticed him, he began to race towards us.
Immediately, Katie's nervous anxiety turned to full panic. She screamed as I told her not to worry. Alex and Nora's attention was drawn to us and puzzled looks followed.
She still clutched to me and grabbed my arm no matter how many times I told her to relax.
She proclaimed she was going to be attacked as I told her the dog was friendly.
I mean, what's the worst thing he can do. Plus he's just so cute.
Within a matter of seconds, the unknown dog had reached us and began a humorous (to me) playful dance.
I smiled as he took off running in the other direction then noticed the terror in my friend's face.
After Kate began to breathe again, she hailed me a hero in the face of adversity while being "attacked by a dog" and that was when It dawned on me that we had seen the situation from two entirely different perspectives. Her perspective was that we were being attacked by the dangerous dog who bit her when she was younger. My perspective was that a friendly dog off-leash wanted to play. In that instance, there was nothing either of us could do to change the other's perspective.

"I will call you..." Skylar paused for a bit. "Aha! Got it!" She jumped on Andy's lap, enthusiasm clear in her voice as she spoke. "You are gonna be Pookie Bear from now on." She pointed a finger at Andy's nose then burst out giggling.

"Pookie Bear?" I asked causing her to nod her head eagerly. "Nice," I said trying so hard not to laugh out loud.
"YOUR Pookie Bear, Miss Lilly."
Okay, that got me blushing. A little bit.
Andrew has a face of a tomato right this moment. Sometimes I think he blushes much more than I do... adorable.
Then I thought of something that actually warmed my heart.
"He can be your Pookie Bear too Sky."
As soon as I said that, her eyes widened and a huge grin was on her face. "We can share him! That's awesome!"
All of a sudden the three of us were hugging. Even though Andy was not invited in our little moment and just barged in, he made it precious.
"Dogs are so futile! All they do is sniff, bark and whine! I can't tolerate with such creatures." Katelyn sighed as Puddles, the dog from earlier (Yes! I got him a name) circumnavigated around her, twitching his tail. He was an old dog but with much energy. He was constantly jumping up and down on people with his muddy, and feculent paws.
More fearlessly than before, she pushed him away and perambulated off to the couch Andy, Sky and I were sharing.
She's definitely not friends with animals, and even though she used to live in this old farm with her grandparents, she said animals were not one of her interests. Ever.
Puddles specifically.
He kept chasing her all day which made her very annoyed. Such a grumpy witch. And a bitch.
Hehe, I'm so funny.
Kate squeezed herself between us earning groans then looked at Alex and Nora who were sitting on the floor cuddling.
"All of you disgust me." She muttered as she stood up and went to the kitchen. "Urgh couples... such weirdos."

Third-person P.O.V
Agitated, Conner sat on a stiff chair in his hotel suite. He was burdened by everything going on in his miserable life. Stressed out to the brim.
That didn't change how proud he was of Andrew, even if he didn't plan to ever tell him.
He took a sip of poorly made, bitter coffee when his phone beeped. Evan.
"That scurvy bastard," Conner moaned.
He answered the phone with a slight shiver.
"Evening," he started in a cold, heartless manner.
