"It's been two days Professor! When are we going after her!" Grant could be heard shouting angrily at the Professor Calvin.
"Give it a few more days Grant. I know you're worried about her, we all are." the Professor replied, trying to calm Grant down.
"A few more days? We don't even know if she is ok now! I thought they would let her go!"
"Maybe that prince wants to marry her." Marcy added teasingly.
"That isn't funny!" Grant barked. "I am going to look for her with or without you!"
"Ok listen, if you are that worried than we will look together, alright? It's too dangerous for you to go alone. I can speak Turkish so you'll need me in case there is trouble." Professor Calvin reassured.
"Great, I will prepare a bag of supplies!" Grant said as he ran towards the supply tent. He was worried sick over [y/n]. He had finally gotten a chance to get closer to her, only for her to be dragged away and laid at the feet of some spoiled prince. He couldn't sit around and do nothing.

Witnessing a brutal murder had exhausted you emotionally. After Ama left you with more questions than answers, you had cried yourself to sleep. You felt alone and confused. Only until you became too physically exhausted to cry anymore, did you fall asleep. You slept that entire afternoon all the way to the next morning.
Gazing out the window, you could see a beautiful sunrise. You watched as the orange and pink hues began to fade from the morning sun rising. Despite your situation, you still admired the beauty of this island. You sat up when you heard the door slowly begin to open.
"Good morning my dove!" Sakima exclaimed in his heavy accent, running to your side. He pulled you into a tight embrace. "I was rather worried about you. I am so glad I was able to protect you from that monster."
"Protect me? Monster?" you replied, giving him a serious glare. "How can you call him the monster? You stabbed him over and over until he died. You didn't need to murder a man to protect me Sakima."
"(Y/n), he was trying to violate you. I could not allow that to happen!"
"I understand what he was trying to do Sakima. You should have arrested him or punished him, but did he really deserve to die?"
Sakima's demeanor suddenly became intense, making you nervous. "You do not know that man or what he deserved. Understand one thing dove, I am the prince, your future husband and King. I will always protect you, love you and take care of you, but you will respect my authority. His fate was not for you to decide. Is that understood?" Sakima lifted your face so that you looked him directly in the eyes. Not knowing how to respond, you nodded your head and looked away.
It's like he has two different personalities. I have to get away from him somehow. How do I know he won't flip on me as well?
"Come now, we must meet with the royal counsel this afternoon. We must eat before then." Sakima then picked you up bridal style and began to carry you out of the bedroom.
"Hey, Sakima! I can walk myself!" you exclaimed.
"Nonsense! After what happened yesterday, I want to make sure you don't get hurt." he replied with a bright smile on his face. He stared deeply into your (e/c) eyes. You could see sparks of passion held deep within his yellow orbs. Feeling his strong chest pressed against you and his muscular arms wrapped around you, caused your cheeks to turn a light shade of pink. What is it with this guy?
"Are you alright?"
"Oh, um, I'm fine."
"Are you sure my love? You look flushed?" he asked, concerned for you.
"Yes, I'm fine." you answered before turning your head.
Sakima carried you to the dining room. The two of you enjoyed a light breakfast. Steamed eggs were served with a local bread made by a stone oven along side a glass of raw milk. You had never had raw milk before. It was extremely rich and buttery. It was unlike anything you had ever tasted. Sakima explained that the cattle raised on the island consumed a type of grass found only on Arcova. It is believed that the special grass contributes to the flavor of the delectable milk.
After you and Sakima finished your meal, the two of you walked together down the long hall.
"Would you enjoy seeing the village garden?" Sakima asked politely.
"The village has a community garden?"
"A rather large one, actually."
"I would love to see it!" you exclaimed. You almost forgot that the sweet demeanoured prince was a murderous beast only a day ago. Sakima wrapped his arm around yourself and began walking you towards the garden. You tried pulling your arm away, but it only caused him to tighten his grip.
"Please, do not try to pull away from me my dear. After what happened yesterday, I can't have you wondering on your own." Sakima said firmly. You sighed, knowing at the moment you didn't have a choice. You would have to gain his trust if you were to become familiar enough with your surroundings to escape. It was obvious this was one pretty boy prince who had never been told no. He wouldn't accept anything less than your hand.
Once you approached the village gardens, you were amazed. The garden appeared to go on and on for acres. The front garden beds were filled with pink tulips and very rare black roses. Behind those garden beds were endless amounts of vegetable plants and fruit trees.
"This is amazing..." you said aloud.
"I am glad you like it (y/n)." Sakima replied, his golden eyes flickering with joy.
"How does the village manage to maintain such a large garden?"
"Well, the women all work together to harvest and water the plants. The men plow and plant seed. The village works together as a whole."
"That's amazing."
You approached the flower beds and took a whiff of the roses. As black as they were, thwy gave off a devine scent. Sakima walked to the right of you, plucked a rose, and removed all the thornes. After that, he gentle placed the rose in your hair just right so that ot would not fall out. You began to blush slightly, but turned so Sakima wouldn't see. There is no way I am going to get feelings for this guy.
