Once you and Sakima arrived back in the village, all the villagers who were present during your little stunt began to whisper to one another. As you were brought back to the campfire, you were able to get a small look around your surroundings, allowing you to become a little more familiar with the island. given that you are not going to stay with this prince for the rest of your life, you would have to begin a plan on how you would return to your group. 'I have to find a way out of all this mess.' you thought to yourself.
All the guards were watching, you couldn't move an inch without them noticing. They are already prepared to stick their spears into you, as if you were a shish kebab. Not to mention Sakima. You felt his gaze was firmly set on you, as if he could see into your soul, but you didn't really care to return his gaze, considering that the queen is moving toward you. A few guards accompanied her.Their muscles were broad and well defined as though these men were on a strict vitamin regimen. What is most disturbing is the look on the face of Queen, it looks like she could jump to strangle you any second.
"Bu ne anlama geliyor? Nasıl bir kutsal tören berbat edersin?!? Eğer yabancı gelin olmasını seçtim Ve Sakima? Ne zaman bu köyde istekli ve güzel kız bir grup vardı!!"
"Anne, seni sakin gerektiğini düşünüyorum." Sakima intervenes and tries to calm his mother.
"And please dear mother, try speaking in English, (Y / n) cannot understand. It is only fair."
"You are bothered this stranger can't understand what I say? You mean you do not care that you have defiled this sacred ceremony?" The queen says, her words full of rage.
"Mother, you must calm down." Sakima said, while placing a hand on his mother's shoulder reassuringly.
"Calm down? How do you expect me to calm down when my own child brought shame to my family and the whole tribe? You could choose any of these beautiful girls in our village, but you've decided to choose a stranger! You brought shame on me and your father! I want you to fix your decision. I want you to choose a woman from our village. Then I will be calm."
At these words, which were out of the mouth of his own mother, Sakima started to squeeze on your shoulder so much that you were sure he would break it. The gleam in his eyes disappeared and was replaced with rage. He looked like a ferocious predator waiting to kill the enemy.
"I said calm down and you will calm down! I'm about to become the leader of this tribe, so I chose my wife! This is the woman I want to spend my life with! Or would you prefer I marry someone I do not love?!? Would you rather a woman I care nothing for to bare my children, only causing me to resent them? Is that what you desire? " These words came out of his mouth like poison. The most disturbing part is that all eyes were on the three of you. You looked around, trying to discern how the villagers were reacting to all of this. The looks on their faces told you two things: disgust and pure hatred. Everyone looked at you like you had a contagious virus. You became even more uncomfortable, wanting nothing to do with this madness.
The queen looked like she was in shock. What happened just now? Her own son, her only heir was yelling at her. At her, the one that carried him in her womb for nine months, the one that gave birth to him, the one that breastfed him, the one who raised him and gave him love constantly, the one who cared for him the most. He yelled at her just because of you; a foreigner. 'Why couldn't I let her go when I had the chance?' she asked herself out loud.
"Fine. You can do whatever you want. But I want you to remember one thing, and that is that I will be with you forever my son. For better or for worse, your father and I love you very much. But .... you've completely disappointed us." And with those words being said, the queen went back to the throne beside her husband.
You turned your gaze back to Sakima, but after you saw his expression, you began to feel sorry for him. You were sure those words caused great pain, especially being from his own mother. Even though you knew you shouldn't pity him, you couldn't help but place your hand gently on his arm, trying to offer some comfort. His expression looked like he was just stabbed in the heart. And all this just because of Marcy and her disobedience. God, if I get out of here, she'll pay this you thought. Sakima gazed down back at you and offered you a small fake smile. He looked like he was trying to hide his hurt from you, probably attempting to keep you from feeling guilty. However, it was too late for that. He finally loosened his grip on your hand without letting go, providing much needed relief.
