Chapter 19- First Day at the Office

"Sally I think you already made that clear." I interrupted.

"What's all the commotion about?" Asked Holly as she stuck her head out and Leah behind her.

"OH FUDGE CAKE WITH LEMON ON TOP?" Yelled Holly as she started to ramble " I have to say this, you at the most sexiest man I have ever laid my eyes on." Rambled on Holly.

I just face palmed myself, this was so embarrassing the way Sally and Holly were acting like children and Ethan was some piece of candy.

Ethan chuckled "It is nice to meet you ladies," He said in a deep voice as he took Sally's hand and placed a kiss in the back of her hand, he did the same exact thing with Holly and Leah.

"OMG I am never washing this hand again." Said Holly excited as she jumped on the spot.

"Ahhh." Sally sighed looking at Ethan with a dreamy look. The only person who was behaving was Leah who stood there with her mouth open and just staring at Ethan like she was in some trance.

"Thanks for your embarrassing introduction but could you ladies go in, I need to talk to Mr Cole." I said as I tried to push the girls in the room.

"Do we have to go?" Pouted Holly.

"Yes." I glared at Holly, she sighed before stomping her way in.

"Bye." Sally giggled as she waved her hand at Ethan before going in, pulling Leah with her.

I took a deep breath as I closed the door and faced Ethan. "I'm really sorry about my friends-." I started.

"No it's fine; I've had much worse than that." He chuckled.

I felt at ease with his response, knowing my friends didn't totally mess things for me. I looked at him as he stared at me with his deep blue eyes, I quickly looked away making sure to look anywhere other than his beautiful eyes. I knew if I looked up at him I would start to stare and drool over him.

"What's so interesting that you won't look at me?" He turned his body to see what I was looking at. "All I see is coloured walls." He stated as he raised his eyebrow in a cocky way.

"I was just thinking lime colour is a very interesting choice." I blurted out. As soon as my stupid slow head comprehended what I said I wanted to slap myself for saying something so dense.

"Hmm it is." He said with a smirk. He clearly knew I was not thinking that at all. I think I better wrap this up before I make a fool out of myself more and Ethan may rethink to give me the job.

I cleared my throat before I said "Well thanks for the lift," with a small smile.

"You're welcome."

"I-I better go now." I muttered as I stared at his lips before making eye contact.

"I'll see you at nine tomorrow."

"Yes sir." I whispered before opening my apartment door and walking in. "Bye."

"Bye." He gave me a wink before walking down the hall. As soon as I closed my door I was bombarded with my friends voices.

"What was The hottest bachelor Ethan Cole doing here?"

"That was Ethan Cole!!!"

"I cannot believe I just stood there like a fish."

I took a deep breath and pushed the girls out of my way as I walked towards my room. I answered each of their responses as I checked off the answers with my fingers. "Holly, yes that was Ethan Cole. Leah, yes you did stand there like a fish but it was hundred times civilised compare to these hyper hyenas. Finally Sally, The hottest bachelor Ethan Cole gave me a lift home. You've got your answers and I'm really tired so good night." I said and closed the door to my bedroom.
