Revealing Ballroom Scenes

Aunt Brank's POV

'It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.'

Wise words, she had to agree, despite her disapproval of the author's wisdom in pursuing an independent career. In fact it was around this very belief that her life revolved ever since her husband had brought home his nieces. To have your home invaded by girls is not a dream come true but living hell, she insisted, as all around gushed at the "charming" Lintons.

Well they could repay their debt when she married them off and it was with this hawk eye that she viewed all things considering those children and an especially problematic Lilly.

The girl was adamant on pursuing her extremely unladylike interests, making her occasionally get disturbing visions of a very violent old Lilly skinning balls for ages to come. She most definitely has no plans to grow old with any of her nieces.

Still she couldn't deny that while her niece's looks might be bordering on average, she did manage to attract an uncanny amount of attention. Despite this she also displayed the unerring skill of getting rid of all potential suitors, lately with more permanency than ever.
