Shay walked through the courtyard of her Mediterranean inspired home, struggling with the bags full of snacks she had just bought at the supermarket. She just about managed to open her  front door and drag her shopping into the kitchen. Maybe this is too much, she thought, but realised it was too late for that now.

"Sash?" Shay called. She hoped Sasha hadn't gone home, Shay was enjoying this time spent with her, even though it had been some part traumatic. It was then that she heard the sweet laughter of the blonde she was smitten with, from outside in her garden. Shay gazed out the window and saw Sasha playing with Angel. Shay remembered that Sasha loved dogs, and wondered why she didn't have any of her own. Probably Aiden, she thought.

Shay had never taken well to Aiden. He was a rich boy from New York who had had everything in life handed to him on a plate. He had always gotten his way and Shay had never liked some of the comments she had heard him make to Sasha. Ofcourse she didn't vocalise her distaste of him, in fear of pushing Sasha away, but she reckoned he knew her feelings towards him. To be honest when Sasha had told her she rejected his proposal, Shay couldn't help but see the irony, thinking this was one problem Aiden couldn't solve by throwing money at it.

Shay decided to sneak up on Sasha while she was distracted playing with Angel. She silently opened the back patio door and tiptoed towards Sasha. As she got closer Shay grabbed Sasha by the waist and shouted "Boo!"

"Ahhhh!" Sasha screamed and shoved Shay off of her. However, Shay did not expect the force that Sasha had used to push her away and lost her balance, landing straight into the pool. "Hahaha." Sasha couldn't contain her laughs as she saw Shay flapping her arms about in the pool. It wasn't until a second later that she realised due to Shay's cast, Shay was finding it difficult to swim. Without hesitation Sasha jumped into the pool and pulled Shay up, who quickly wrapped her legs around Saha's waist. Sasha could feel Shay's heart thumping fast against her own chest and her laboured breaths tickling her neck, causing the hairs on the back of Sasha's neck to stand up. "Sorry Shan, I forgot about the cast." She apologised.

"It's my fault, I shouldn't have snuck up on you." She replied still struggling to get her breathing back to normal. "But you need to stop trying to kill me." She joked.

"Sorry." Sasha once again apologised. Sasha noticed how close she was to the brunette and lifted her head to look into Shay's chocolate brown eyes. They stared at one another intently, taking in all the details of each others faces, both feeling an overwhelming connection to each other. Suddenly, Shay started to lean in until she was a centimetre away from Sasha's lips. Sasha moved her gaze from Shay's eyes to her soft, plump lips. Sure she had kissed Shay before but this would be different. This isn't acting. This would change everything. Did she like Shay like that? Did she still like Aiden? Sasha was so confused about her feelings.

Thankfully, the moment was abruptly interrupted by Angel flying into the water splashing about like crazy. Sasha took this as her chance to escape and swiftly lifted Shay up to the side of the pool and helped her get out, before she also climbed out.

For a minute both women stared at each other, unknowing of words to make this situation clearer. After a moment both mentally agreed to pretend they didn't almost kiss and move on.

"Lets go inside and get dry. I got some snacks so we can watch those movies." Shay offered, breaking the silence that had engulfed the two women.

"So you're asking me to Netflix and chill?" Sasha joked.

"Maybe. If you're lucky." Shay retorted.

They returned into the house and Shay suggested they change into warmer clothes. They entered Shay's walk in wardrobe and Shay handed Sasha some clothes to wear while picking out some for herself. Shay immediately stripped into her underwear and dried herself with a towel, not caring that Sasha was still in the room. She had a white lace set of matching bra and panties on and Sasha couldn't help but feel the heat rise to her cheeks. So she just stayed where she was, creating a little puddle of pool water underneath her. Sasha wasn't as confident about changing in front of Shay as Shay was about changing in front of her.
