It's my sophomore year, and I'm pretty sure I have experience. I'm not like one of those emo, depressed, black dressed people who have no social skills whatsoever. I can be social... when I want to. And I don't like black a lot. I like black leggings. Depression is so last year by the way, and its called being sad. I just like to slap my sadness on a piece of paper, crumble it up, and try to throw it away deep down.
I'm almost 16, a full fledged teen. I try to be normal. It's a lot of stuff that just don't work. Like sleep overs, the bags overwhelm my arms, and my lotions and pills are just heavy. I try going on the beach and taking those Tumblr pictures that are "goals". But it just looks like I took a picture of a dumpster. Not very photogenic.
Thanks to my oh so wonderful eczema, I obviously can't do things most girls can do. I can't go to the beach when I want, I can't go and wear tang tops, or cute shorts with out asking. Dogs, cats, any known shedding animal, I'm allergic to. But the only normal thing I can do is pick out "Tumblr style" sweaters. Some of them can be nice. Or scratchy. Or just flat out weird.
Sure, I have friends. Not best best friends though. No sleep overs, no group selfies, no matching Halloween costumes, nothing major. I wish I had someone like me. Someone with my likes and dislikes. Like how I like video games, shorts instead of skirts, or basketball (can't really play a lot with my baggy sweaters, I sweat and my eczema is sensitive), but all my friends wanna do is go paint their nails, or go shopping, or curl their hair. I just like putting my hair in a bun, or tieing it to the side, it can frizz up and it can be annoying.
I just wish there was someone like me.
