Hi, my name is Eden. I'm 18 years old and I live in the year 6033. All I want is to see outside this basement.Sadly, I was born a twin. My parents decided to keep me, but when i was born i didn't get my eyes i am stuck in this house with hazel eyes and i don't look like everyone else, oh yeah i should tell you what i mean by eyes. When a baby is first born they get injections and there eyes turn a beautiful silver color, but when i was born i wasn't going to live my mother stole me from them what so i could like this boring life i don't have friends i don't know anyone but my twin brother Theo i and my parents I loved them and all but I just want a friend maybe if i left town i could find someone like me.
''Theo i wish i had friends'' said Eden
''I know but you know why you can't i'm always here to talk to you eden you know that'' said Theo
"You know what i mean by friend Theo like someone who gets me and knows how it is being who i am" said Eden
" yeah i know just know i can be there for you okay" said theo
" don't worry i know u are" said Eden
I hugged Theo and walked back down to the basement. What if i left tonight i contemplated in my head over and over. I can leave tonight nobody will notice well maybe theo. Well, I can't live with the only person i talk to being my brother my entire life.
As I walked out the door scared of what was to happen next will i live, will i die. We will just have to see. The streets are dark not a soul to be seen. I start running avoiding being caught, I see a patrolman near by he sees me I Hide in a nearby shrub as he walks to me getting closer and closer. I can feel the fear running down my spine and a tear coming from my eye. He grabs my wrist pulling me up.
"What are you doing out here past curfew" said the patrolman
" nu-nothing sir i guess i just was going to get some food we ran out" said Eden in fear
" hmmm I haven't ever seen you out here before what is your name" said the patrolman
I looked there was a bike i don't know how to ride one, but it's worth a shot. I came out of his grip. I ran to the bike he caught a glimpse of my eyes and pulled out his phone and from the look on his eyes it was not good. This is my punishment is this what i get for wanting to be human. I can see the edge of town from here. I rode out the land was barren i rode on to a pothole and fell off my bike. My elbow hit the ground hard I had scraped it. A girl with blueish green hair walked towards me. She reached her hand out with a friendly smile.
